been here in tofs 13 DAYS for this drop for my clkassic druid. angry librarian did not spawn for first 8 days and 839 mobs, of course when he di id spawn he didnt drop it, in the last 13 days he has popped 4 times ponly and i have killed excess of 1250 mobs
he has dropped students homework 3 times, and nothing at all but key once.

only things i need are gnomey tunic and sylaabus of course i have not seen either fgo them

being a wizard of solro i currently use golden idol of solro.. i dont get much use out of this effect but i do have the item as it has hgih PR. sumtin that is a bit hard to come by... 20 PR is very nice its the kind of item to use on raid ect when u need it.

I have been playing in ToFS for a couple of weeks getting Gnome Skin armor for my druid. I have picked this up 5 times in 6 tries. If you want to go get one, look me up on Tarew Marr and I will assist you for 500pp. YOU can make a nice little profit of 1k. :yikes:

I logged on Just today to find my Teachers Syllabus has effect "Enhancement Haste II" added to it. I'm dancing a mighty Dwarven Jig here...but, ah, What exactly IS Enhancement Haste?

Increases casting speed of buffs, up to the lvl 44 spells. Enchancement (buffs) Haste (speeds casting time (II) the second version, good to lvl 44. EHIII works on all buffs to lvl 60.

a lvl 49 cleric guildie (who helped me get a students homework, woot =D) identified this to get the lore text, and it reads: "throwing paper is grouds for expulsion"

another funny thing is in the beggining "loading" screen, while it says stuff like "loading maps" (or whatever) it also says "hiding tha catnip from the Vah Zeer." )Sorry for misspelling, its later than i usually stay up on sundays.)

i have never seen the syllubus drop ever...i have seen the homework drop numerous times, i have walked up and down TOFS waiting for her to spawn, then head back down, nothing....I wish it would drop for me, just once

14 hours straight 102 teacher homeworks and not 1 syllabus. Rare or uber rare you tell me. oh and its real simple to get her to spawn take 2 50 plus necros and a 40 cleric and just massively wipe out the floor every minute or so lol

My guild and I camped the second floor of the Tower. We were there less than hour. In about 15 minutes, the angry librarian spawned and the student's homework dropped. Our group gave the homework to our Wizard. In about another 15 minutes the librarian spawned again and dropped the syllabus! I, being the cleric, got the syllabus. I was tres happy! Perhaps, it was just luck, but she spawned quickly and dropped the supposed rare item. Oh, we also had to clear a whole bunch of students and other mobs on the floor. I'm not sure if that's what got the angry librarian to spawn. At one point, I think we killed 10 mobs in a row. Anyway, just wanted to post my experience.

ok i have gotten many keys this way.1 you will need IVU to do it .2 go around(with IVU on) to each mob in the second floor stand back a ways and try to hand them a coin(this is important you arnt close)pay attention to the spam you'll be reading it will say something like"you are to far away to trade with a student#_03" the "#" is the important thing you are looking for. 3. if you find a mob with the "#" by its name in the trade spam it is the PH for the angry librarian you have to kill it and soon as it dies the angry will spawn imedietly so be prepared 4. if non of the mobs have the "#" in the trade spam then you can pick any static spawn and kill it alone each time it spawns do the trade from a distance routine untill you see the "#" as long as no one else kills any other mobs in the zone the PH will spawn rather quickly keep in mind there can be only one PH so if you clear the whole floor the PH can spawn at any spot making your job much harder but if you kill a set 2 mobs(alot of ppl sit in the librarian circle and kill her and the library assistant thats why youll hear mixed rumors about killing the librarian to get the PH it is possible like this but its all random)in a controlled enviroment you wont have to worry about being suprized by the PH. this is true for any mob on any floor the one with the "#" will spawn the angry mob example angry relative,angry librarian etc....... i hope this will help you out and isnt going to confuse anyone

the facts:

angry lib is a random spawn after killing some soradic mob

1st time i saw her it was right away, tonight it took 2 hours

and the sylabus is a rare drop which now adorns my range slot

I won the roll! neener neener neener! =)

The Angry Librarian can spawn anywhere on the floor. You just need to wipe out all the spawns for better chances. I personally camped at the upper left corner near zone in. Works as well.

Angry Librarian is a RARE spawn, you have to kill a sheeyteload of students, librarians, and teachers to get her to spawn in the dorner to the left and close to the port in to the second floor. Grouped there 2 nights in a row, and say Angry 3 times. All three times, she dropped the Student's Homework (Angry at the student's homework, eh? Getting F's, are we?) Teacher Syllabus..... I've never seen it. But I want to. Oh, yes, Precious, if we get Teacher's Syllabus, we'll get the other 2k plat we need for a Flowing Black Silk Sash, YES, Precious, yessssss!

hmm. I spent three hours on the second floor randomly killing different mobs on the level tyrying to get the Angry Librarian to spawn. Didn't see him. Ended up camping out there. Hopefully will pop quick tonight.

This item drops off the Angry Librarian. It is her rare drop. Student's Homework is common.

The Angry Librarian is a random spawn on the second floor. You pretty much just have to keep clearing the floor until it spawns.

I happened to see the angry librarian, kill her and loot this out of luck one time when I was running up to level 5 to meet some friends.

I've asked around, and nobody has ever said they have gotten this item off angry Librarian. I have one, however, so i think its pretty rare. Everybody has been telling me they just see the homework and not the syllabus

If you think druids are so worthless, don't ever ask for a heal, a sow, wolf form, str, dmg shield, or a tp somewhere.

You mentioned 4 different classes that can do things that druids do...sure is nice to have one party member do all those things. I camped this with my lvl 48 necro today (I have a druid, shaman and shadow knight I play too) and in about 4 hours I got the librarian to spawn 3 times. The first time she had just the key, then she dropped the student's homework followed by a drop of the teacher's syllabus.

The homework will replace my necro's Dagger of Marnek (like the extra magic resistance) and was planning on having my druid equip the syllabus but was dismayed to see that only clerics & shamen can use it (my shaman has a Howling Harpoon in range slot already...+6 Wis, 40 mana...so he has no need for it). For all you people who are thrilled that druids can't use it...well, I sold it in EC for 3000pp so I'm not very unhappy... lol

As a warrior.. I don't mind the SoW and extra 100atk that can come from wolf form... I think it's pretty bad-ass and wish druids would always keep it on the primary tank in outdoor zones. It's been the difference between 890-900atk at level 42 and over 1000atk... what would you rather have on your primary tank?! I know what works for me =)

Just wanted to clear something up. Someone posted That only Druids get wolf form. Untrue. Chanters get Illusion Spirit Wolf. Not the same by far but it is still wolf form. Self only of course. But I prefer to use that over running without sow anyday as it boosts ya just a little on your speed.

He spawned in the desk area where the normal Librarian spawns and dropped the key needed for the next level. Spawned one out of every 3 normal Librarian spawns for the group I was in and the same for a second group that was there.
