'Scuse me, but SOME people have so much *$&@ing lag on their computers they can't enter Bazaar or PoK, like several of my friends. This is a damned good thing for my Druid to nab off someone that doesn't want it. When things go to rot, why don't you just give it to someone that probably has only Stitched Burlap Armor or newbie armor on, quit your complaining, and enjoy EQ instead of bashing SOE or Verant at will.

I got one of these for my lowbie Ranger for 50PP pre Luclin. He is Wood Elf, so his STR is low so I got it mainly for the STR buff, but the AC was the same as what I had in the slot (Polar Bear Cloak, or something like that) and had a HP buff which is something Rangers always seem to be short of. This was more valuable to me at the time than the +15 Cold Resist of the Polar Bear Cloak. If this is a pelt, though, it should count as leather armor and should be usable by any class capable of wearing leather, shouldn't it? Why are MNK BST DRU SHM CLR not on the equipable list?

I gave away a few along with Icetooth claw to newbie on Vallon on a few round trip or when ever I stop by after coming from GD to Atonica or where ever newbie are found.

These are pretty nice. We were grouping in cave number 3 and we pulled icetooth and took him down fairly easily. He dropped this... but the ranger won the roll. Oh well... I will try some more.

I was lookin for something to replace my kunzar cloak because my new guy can't wear the kunzar. I was in EC and a guy was selling a bag of stuff so I looked in it and saw this. I loved it! It's perfect for my rogue so I asked him how much. He said that it was 100pp. I thought he was nutz for going so low and looked at my plat to buy it. I only had 82pp... in plat. I had 350 gold though. I didn't see this though. I told him I had 82pp and he said he would go for that. I gave him my money and didn't relize that I did have 100pp including gold until later. Then I looked for the guy to pay him what I should of in the first place but I couldn't find him. If you read this, I want to pay you what I owe you cause this is better than 82pp... or 100pp for that matter. You know where to find me, send me a tell.

I picked one up at about 30th in exchange for another item. I wore it instead of a banded cloak because of the stat adds, weight and HP's. I was still wearing it until about 2 levels ago when I finally picked up a second skinning rock and was able to do the Dire Wolf Fur Cloak quest. For those who want to talk about whether or not this item sucks cause there are others out there that are better.... Go get one of those, then, and leave those who either can't (for level or monetary reasons) or won't alone.

Group killed Icetooth maybe 8 times and he dropped the claws 7 times and the pelt only once. I'm guessing that this pelt is his rare. :)

This is exactly like the Grey Fur Cape dropped by the Halara in Tim Deep. Same stats and same races (notably: shorties can't wear it).

this isn't that horrible of a back piece. like another post said, not everyone is a twink.

not that i care if people twink, because it isn't my business. but when people who twink are rude about what "newbs" wear, then i am personally offended.

i would e happy to wear it not all of are twinks out there and can afford top of live equipment and other people need things besides a black slot so don'e be ungratful to what you recive be thankful

Well think about it, it does make sense that the small races can't wear it, no offence, it's a big bear that you skin, your gonna lose a gnome or halfling inside that LoL
