very high ac, about as high as it comes for a caster item. although no int bonus its still got a diecent mana bump. theres better but still a nice item. although this is just a guess the worm it comes off o would be pretty mean.

So far it has conned black to me at 42. I have been in on kill twice and got one for me little ranger. Too bad it isn't for Druids. Oh well.

He's blue to me at 50. And there are a couple of other worms that are around his range that wander around that tunnel where he is found. He also drops an eye that is +30 hp and mana and +10 to cold, fire, magic for wis casters. It is a hand item and uses the ice cream cone image.

Shardtooth is aprox. level 42, hits hard (100s), and has about 10k hitpoints. I saw three level 50-51 casters root/nuke him just fine, though. Cleric, druid, wizzie took it down quick.

What other pieces besides chest drop? I'm wearing the full flayed skin from karnors, purple armour, its got some nice +int items, save for the chest. so, what OTHER pieces of this new flayed drop, what if any other stats are on the other pieces, and what does it look like? pics please?

I don't think any other Shardtooth flayed drop. He (Shardtooth) drops this tunic and the Eye (wis caster item mentiooned above), one is likely his common and one his rare. He may drop others, but it seems unlikely.

As for the look of this item, when I (a wood-elf bard) tried it on it looks like a leather tunic. Perhaps a useful trinket for the pure caster that's tired of wearing a dress all the time...

The SFS by itself looks like a leather vest. With gatorscale sleeves and leggings, it appears as a customized leather armor set. I wear this combo on my 41 wiz while soloing giants in the Great Divide on Innoruuk. I am at 200 int, so don't really need a mama's boy robe anymore. i also have the rare drop Crystalline Eye.

I just got one of these bad boys, for a pretty good deal i think, ive heard theyre worth 1-2k pp (im on Vallon Zek) I dont see the 2k worth, but hey... it'd be nice =) Does anyone have an approximate value on this thing?

Did I miss something? Did you say your in an Anti-Player Killer guild ON A PVP SERVER? Isn't that a bit pointless? I can make a no-food-or-water guild & have zero stamina all the time. Why not just start on a different server?

I wish I knew how much it is worth. I got one by killing Shardtooth in Great Divide, a Shardwurm who roams around the tunnel just south of Thurgadin. He has more HP's than the other blue conning Shardwurms but ain't really any tougher. He was white or yellow to a 42d lvl and blue to me at 49th.

I've had one of these for awhile. I haven't really tried hard core auctioning it yet. Mostly in SoV zones (close to drop point) but I've had several people turn up their nose at it when I opened with 500p, which from what I've seen other places is a very good price for it. Seems int casters have a hard time taking off their dresses for something that looks like armor ;>

it does have an HIGH value.

at EC on the karana server, many high lvl want it to complete their mana stuff with a 200INT, it does look like leather on my DE rog, but it does have some new velious graphics on an high elf, ive solf it for 3700p and everybody was happy, i even received a 4500p offer 5 min later .

it has AWEOSME ac, great MANA, good look and a hp bonus, WHO WANT MORE ;)

come on.. crystal covered shroud AC: +12 Str: +4 Wis: +4 Int: +4 Cold Resist: +10 for 1kpp is far better for your money... and easy to get yourself from level 35 !!!!!

Black Leather? As far as i know it shows as regular leather on a Highelf Wizard (me)! I did pay 3500pp for it. don't know if i should auction it off at this point. maybe save it for a bit to see if graphics changes.
