After reading the posts here about folks who have leveled in CS and not seen a Crushed Onyx Sapphire drop, I had to re-login to confirm that yes, I did indeed get one from a Haunted Seachest. Two other Crushed gems as well (nephritre, and chrysolite)in addition to lesser gems, cheap jewelry, booze, the mysterious 'section of draconic tome' and the ever-popular 100' section of waterproof rope.

having leveled 4 charaters here for a total of about 10 levels and have never seen on of these drop in cs

Am curious if anyone else can confirm the crushed gems coming from the haunted seachest in CS... I have killed this chest twice out of boredom... Both times it dropped the 100' of Waterproofed rope, but no gems, so I didn't pursue killing it again. I think it's quite unlikely that it would drop crushed, although chipped gems seems more likely.

Aye - the haunted seachest in CS dropped one 'Crushed Flame Opal' in approximatey 15 kills for me last night on the Karana server - the rest of the time it dropped very low-end stones such as onyx, jasper, and star rose quartz (also silver/golden earrings, silver rings, etc.) along with 1pp-6pp in coin. Dropped 'Section of a Draconic Tome' twice (Lore / No Drop) and (of course) the 100' of Waterproof Rope each time. Hope this helps =)

I recieved all 3 with various other "crushed" type quest gems from the Haunted Seachests in Cobalt Scar. Hope this helps a little.

Found this gem on an Icepaw Kobold in Velketor's Labyrinth. As rare as it is it'll take ages for all three to drop, then there's the corrupted armour part - bleh.

I would assume the same place the other onxy sapphires drop, Cobolt Scar. I hope this helps. Read the info on Greaves, this is what it says.

I received one of these from a bulthar, although I killed at least 20 of the beasties before I got this, and have received no quest stones since then. Tis quite rare.

Whoa whoa whoa!

I've gotten three levels quad-kiting Wyverns in CS. You couldn't be more wrong. I've gotten about 11 CHIPPED Onyx Sapphires killing Wyverns. In all that time and kills never once did CRUSHED Onyx Sapphires drop
