You were right. It should always be need before greed. Unless you're a major twink or are using something better, the person who can actualy use should always get it. If no one else in your group can use it and the others would just sell it, then it would just be fair.
I was grouped with a druid, and a high level was Plvling us. The stick dropped, we rolled, and I lost. My high level friends told me that it's need before greed on things like that. So, when I was in a group a few days later I called need before greed whe n one dropped, and some of the group was PO'd. What would be the right thing to do there?
If your playing with friends or guildmates then it should be need before greed. If your guildmates dont let you have this item when they cant personally use it then you should definately find another guild. If you are just playing with a pickup group, you could ask the group nicely if you could have it because you need it. But if someone wants to roll, its their right because they could sell or trade this item and get better equipment for themselves.
This item drops off anything, I looted mine off a Shadow, and have seen them looted off of Golems. And I did walk in one day, kill the shadow and get one ) but... I have spent 9 lvls there and haven't seen another in my groups ( Good luck

On Fennin Ro, if you hand in EC awhile, you'll catch a Wu's on the cheap about 4k, going rate is about 5.5k though. Tranq canes are 1k going rate, on the cheap half that. Depends on how old the server is, how much people camp stuff and how much twinkage is going on.
Heh, you call that cheap. On Lanys T'val, Cane of the Tranquils go for around 250p, Wu's trance sticks are sold all day long at 1.6 to 2k, SCHW are now going for about 4 to 6k, and FBSS, well, 3k is the highest price Ive seen asked in a long long time. The prices mainly depend on how well regulated the rare items are by people camping them. Im sure some servers have guilds that perma camp L guk and Seb and Velks lab an stuff like that. That way they can throw all that stuff in the bank, let the price go up a bit cause its so rare, and then sell one or 2 pieces and make a killing. Honestly, I think if a guild is doing that, thats their business and the players need to turn around an perma camp whatever they can. Which is boring as heck as I know.
depends on the day one time none dropped in a week then we get 2 in a row 4 in an hour **** we all had them by the end of the day lol and it does drop off Apparirtions too maybe even phantoms
Rare.. yeah.. i go with My Orge friend to Misty about 6 times and we get 4 wu's stick total. maybe we got the damn luck.. This afternoon we kill about 4 hours and got 2 sticks.. wish this post wont make the price down too fast heheh!!
I love my Wu. It gives such an advantage when your pking. Although I did notice the pricing on this page seems a bit off. If you hang in OT on Tallon Zek you will notice it sells between 8-12k. It drops off random monsters in City of Mist and takes FOREVER to get. Dont expect to walk in, kill something and get one :P
Our guild did a raid to CoM.. was my first time there. Wu's trance stick dropped off of the third mob we slew. Lucky night for our monk (who called NBG immediately). hehe, I want one for my monk now.
it does still drop its just a pain in the butt to get. The effect is an 83 DD spell which at higher levels will be equal to or less than 83 or even resisted depending on the mob.
Smite is a cleric class DD spell. Does about 80 damage. It starts to proc at 35. I've got a dex of about 110, and it procs about three times a fight, on average.
