I received this nifty ring from GM event on Fennin Ro last Saturday. It was my first GM event. It started in LFay when a unicorn walked up to me near the MM zone and asked if I could help find her daughter. Even though I was lvl 24 at the time, and the unicord told me that I was probably not high enough to help, I said that any noble paladin would give his life to help a lady in distress, and thus was given the quest.
Well, I called my guildmates to action and we eventually found the daughter unicorn in BB, being attacked by a NPC necro around 40th level. Two guildies of lvl 45+ were not allowed to attack the necro. Only four of us could engage in battle; a lvl 35 ranger, lvl 30 druid, lvl 26 ranger, and myself a lvl 24 paladin.
I started the fight by rushing the necro with ghoulbane and shield in hand. I bashed every time the necro started to cast, and GB did the usuall dual-hit of 30+ damage per round. After about 15 seconds, the lvl 35 ranger rushed in dual-wielding and attacking for 45+ three times per round. The druid stayed back healing me, and the lvl 26 ranger stepped in but did very little damage for some strange reason (5-7 per round).
The necro slammed me hard (80+ per punch), and struck me with 200hp+ spells a few times, but a few Druid heals were enough to keep me from having to LoH. We took her down in about three minutes in a frenzied fight. The necro yelled something in Gnomish, then crumpled to the floor.
Only two players were given the quest (myself and the lvl 35 ranger), and only two of use received any reward for our efforts.
I got the Ring of Empowerment and 50pp, the ranger recieved the Bracer of the Unseen and 50pp. We invited the ranger to our guild and the whole night belonged to Universal Alliance.

Bleh how do people know about these events? I have only witness one GM event (or what I'm guessing was a GM event?) and that was when the orcs attacked Kelethin (forget the date tho). Grr, I wouldn't mind having any of these GM items, BTW does anyone know the stats on the Celestial Weapons GM's carry? I asked but they wouldn't tell me.

That's strange. When I asked a GM on my server what the stats were, she said it was 9dmg/31dly and had a right-click proc of Gate. Maybe that guy was just messing with your mind, Auir.

I asked one time and he told me the dmg was 100 and the delay was 10 on the weps GMs and guides use

Currently i received 1 of these on my wedding day, whoa was it a surprise i have no idea how someone would give it away but hey i like it.

Sounds like the item given out after the Necro toury, back in early summer of 2000. All I remeber was that it was a ring that added 5 to all stats.

It was the ring Shammy got for coming in second place for the Necro Artifact Robe quest done on all servers.
