even if you are a Dark elf or iksar etc.. you can use bash too. Just though to Bring that up
You can't bash with this, it is 2hs. Dark elf, Iksar, Erude and Human SK's can only bash with a shield. Large race SK's get SLAM, which is linked to the shoulder slot for some reason.

Yes, you can bash with Inny's Curse. It was designed with that in mind. It's one of the few exceptions to the rules in the game, and the reason you CAN bash with it was to allow the smaller races to be on equal footing with ALL SK's who get their Epic.
Ask the non large sk's on your server, they will tell you that you can indeed bash with the Epic as a smaller race.

We are friends and Xate helped me ge tthis weapon for my 53 sk. I do know Xate. Ogre Sk with egyptian looking mask, u get the picture, oh and he really isn't the first on server to do it. A SK guide had done it week or two before he did it. Just so you know.

I keep seeing comments about lighties backstabbing folks for this thing - is this only on PvP servers where folks can loot each other or is there something special going on with this quest that you've gotta worry about light races that you group with?

It's only on the PvP servers. I myself earned the ire of many lighties I was with when I obtained this weapon through (admitted) treachery. They were furious with me when I managed to successfully Gate away (thank you, Vial of Swirling Smoke) afterwards.

People couldn't steal the actual weapon because you can't loot someone's weapon on the pvp servers, and also you can't loot someone's no drop equipment (which is why planar armor is SOOOO much more coveted on pvp).

I've seen this weapon. It is GODLY. Looks cool and the stats would give you a heart attack. I'd say its the best epic. Unlike some of the crap other classes get for an epic weapon.
From a guild perspective, the Cleric Epic is far-and-away the best. Unlimited charges of mana-free XP ressurection. (90+ percent res I believe?) Methinks that might just come in handy...

The first part of the epic quest (Kurron Ni in Outpost) can be skipped if you raise your True Spirit faction by doing the first steps of, say, the shaman epic. Not a biggie, but 900p cheaper and lot easier if you're an iksar and don't want to mope around Cazic for a while and ruin your non-KoS faction with the lizardmen there ;)

The effect is triggered? I used to think all epics were triggered but Eq.castersrealm.com says ther wise and says it does not!!!! Any info?

depends on the weapon.
melee weaps are mostly procs, caster are mostly right click, because a caster wouldnt get any use from a melee-proc.

This weapon was very hard to get, but well worth it. The damage is only off-set by the delay. Any SK looking to become a powerhouse should invest the time into getting this weapon. But watch out for those you must travel with, for you will most likely get stabbed in the back during this quest.

what you mean Good Weapon amagine this baby with Cloak of Flames, the Cloak has 36% Haste it would go for 40/45 to about 40/35 or so maybe less

I don't have to. I have the Gauntlets of Dragon Slaying and I don't have the exact numbers right now, but I believe it goes for about 40/25 to 40/20. So all Shadow Knights should try and get this. But try to align with at least half Dark chars. so you don't get backstabbed.
What's the haste on the gauntlets of dragon slaying? To get to 25delay you'd need atleast 75% haste, and that sounds abit unrealistic to me, closer to 40% would make more sense in my opinion, which would drop this weapon to 32delay.

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU DID YOUR PERCENTAGES. BECAUSE IF YOU WERE GRANTED 10% HASTE, IT WOULD SUBTRACT 4.5 FROM THE DELAY, THEREFORE AN EASY WAY TO GET 40% WITHOUT USING ALGEBRA IS TO MULTIPLY THE 4.5 BY 4. THIS WILL SUBTRACT 18 FROM THE DELAY. THIS WOULD BRING IT TO 27. SO THEREFORE THE HASTE ON HIS GAUNTLETS MUST BE NEAR 45%
With 40% haste and an eyepatch of plunder I can get 60% haste, or 18 delay. Then when i group with a bard i can get my haste to 100%. That's how i soloed kerafyrm. Word is bond!

I helped a guide move a merchant the other day and he was an ogre shadowknight wielding this. The shape is close to a falchion and it has blue energy that travels up and down the blade constantly. Very interesting looking.

The blades with blue engy the uides use are not epics. Those are what allow the GMs and Guides to travel to where they are needed

Wrong, the blade with blue energy is the warrior epic weapon, not sk. This one has a permanent transparent shroud around the blade.

Yep, the SK weapon is a large, black 2-handed sword. It has a skull in the hilt and a pulsing purpleish glow around it. Definitely looks like a sword for a evil killing machine...

I saw a blade on someone, it was white, kinda transparent, and had black skulls floating from the hilt, and no purple glow... any idea what it was? I assumed it was the epic (black skulls and all), but I guess I was wrong. ;)

There is but one person in EQ that posesses it and that's Xate on the Cazic Thule server (as far as I know). Second, it's the Shadowknight epic weapon. It is very real, and every class has one similar to it for their own needs. They are all godly and uber weapons. You have to kill a god to complete part of the quest. It's only fitting.

On povar 4 ppls on my guild are endin the quest, in less than a week they get their wepons, and i've seen 4 diferent ppl alrdy with it, and that's the ones i've SEEN, hell lots of ppl has it alrdy

My retired SK on Tallon Zek had this weapon. Took forever to get it, especially when he was forced to take a chance and group with a bunch of Lighties to get it. When he won the roll for the final item, I thought sure as heck I was dead. Sure enough, they turned on him, and the only two things that saved my neck was having a faster zone load time than they did, and outrunning them and their guildmates through half of Antonica to get back to Neriak! :)

...the light-skinned, human-looking races on PvP servers, such as Humand, Barbarians, and Erudites. However, the term also is used by most on said servers to indicate anyone not of the dark races, which are Dark Elves, Trolls, Ogres, and Iksar.

Check your forum preferences. You most likely have the default filter on, which will make posts rated below default invisible to you. The poster in this case was referring to another post, which was rated awful and therefore invisible with the default filters. A lot of conversations will make more sense if you have the filter to "never filter", otherwise you'll miss posts here and there. ;)
On the negative side, you'll end up seeing even more trashing on people. But at least you'll know where to place the blame. *shrug*

I agree....half of these boards are people raggin on eachother, i think most of the people who post here dont know what the hell they are talking about or are losers who spend there whole lives playin a game...so anyway i dont have the weapon yet but it looks awsome i hear and the stats just speak for themselves....People this is a GAME meant to be FUN if people make a mistake or say somethin stupid dont ***** to them....as much as you guys dont want to admit it we were all newbs at one time or another so just deal with them...dankee
