Ok i didnt read all the posts but to clarify for those that are curious about the pet it summons, it is the 49th level necro pet, it hits for 55 and with proper buffs it will keep up with most warriors of equal level. Its lifetap proc siphons about 47-50hp and stuns for 1 second. this is not the normal user for this name but im the one that got stunned/tapped her boyfriend and needless to say on a well equiped SK at level 46 the pet beat the snot out of me... so they are helpfull to say the least.
Since when? This is a no level required item similar to the pet spell potion that drops in UGuk. If you are a level 1 you can cast it even though it is a level 13 pet. This is old world dungeon unlike the kunark stuff (which btw has a level 46 cap on it and not 50 on the whole). Naga is SolB and has no level cap on his drops that I am aware of.
Brazier of Elemental Summoning MAGIC ITEM EXPENDABLE Slot: NONE (Inventory) Classes: All Classes Races: All Races Effect: Elemental Fire 1: Summon Pet: SumFireR4 Type: Triggered Charges: 1 Drops: This item is found on creatures. Upper Guk A Froglok Summoner (Level: 28)
I can vouch that this pet is not a monk and more towards a warrior type pet. He does no special skills other than kick so if it was a monk you would see him using flying kick at this level or the classic monk spin kick at least and he never does anything like this. He does have what I believe is a 20hp lifetap proc though and I say this because the spell graphic effects changed for this pet from what all my previous pets had and since he has WAY more hp and I see him procing his hp back up faster than any other pet I have had I am assuming that he is getting the full 20hp that the life tap spell maxes out at. Just for an example on how tough this pet is, I took him to Rathe just to test his skills and he can solo a cyclopse toe to toe with Augment Death on and finish the fight with around 98% Hp. If you use him to kill a HG toe to toe hit the giant with Insidious Retrogression to do an instant 569hp damage and also lower its STR and AC by 20, this will alow your pet to tank toe to toe without fear if you are low on mana. I have yet to loose one of these pets in combat and its a huge difference from the lvl 44 pet.
invoke death is indeed 49th level necro pet spell, but is not a monk,53 is when we get rogue and 56 i believe is when we get the monk, this pet has 2k hit points also sheesh
This spell will supposedly give who uses it the necro 49th lvl pet.. this pet is the monk equivalent, and paired with a necro can be an awesome asset. The monk pet has a approx max of 2350hp and can hit for a approx max of 55, as well as Dual Wield and Double Attack. This pet also procs a minor Lifetap spell for 30 points of damage.
Not sure if I should touch a 2002 post but here it goes.
1. Invoke Death lv 49 necro pet is just a Warrior Pet last time I summoned ole bones. Yes he can Dual Wield ( just like my lv 39 pet and lower still can ), Double Attack and fetch you a whole lot of hurt if he gets out of the yard.
Your Monk pet is a 56? (times have changed but the Rogue was 53rd and Monk was the next in the progression if memory serves).
Now I do know that " Invoke Death" is a just a plain and simple Tank pet who might of given a few kicks to the groin for giggles I dont remember. The higher lv Monk would not just kick but do the cool Flying Kick after checking his Hong Kong Book of Kung Fu.
OK with that said the value of this one chargeinstant clicky pet should be crystal clear. No this wont make much of a difference to the level 70 crowd Duh. Busting out bones when needed for a lv 50 - 60 toon during tough times could make a huge difference. I wont even go into the value of this item in PvP. Those of you who cannot see the value should contact your EBay Rep. who sold you your current account and run this by him.
I trust Dread and his pet stats from 2002 but they might of changed in 3 years so I would go double check. SoE has been nerfing like crazy just look at the limit of classes on your Manastone now <sigh>. No more SK's or Pallys.
It can be triggered only once, right? I dont really get why its so great when it can be used only once. I dont know why Im posting this either. At first I thought this item automatically killed a mob. Which would be awesome. "Hey there Tunare... *trigger* ... UBER LOOT!! hehe, that would be cool. If you flame me you are jus as stupid as I am! Anyways, Im done.
Think about this.... You have a lvl2 Warrior that you want to get to lvl30 so bad. You give this to him. Stick him inside the needed zone, and Fire away! pet will beat the Shiz out of lower lvl mobs and you get all the exp! if HP gets low, go to a safe spot and let his HP med up. (which is kinda fast) and boom send him in again =D eeeeasy. Not to mention he dual weilds ~!
The brazier of elemental summoning drops just as always. Was camping the froggy priest with my bud so we could get some rods, killed the guy that drops the brazier 3 times, he dropped it twice. Wasn't more than a week ago.
That isnt true either. I have killed him with his pet up and he dropped it. I have used the potions umpteen times to PL chars up in no time. Only I caution you with on this item is that you have got to be in a zone that will take you from 1 to 35 or so (realistically) in order to use him right. Dont go into some newbie zone and strike up a level 49 Necro pet cause you are just going to run out of things to kill at some low teen level.
Go to a place like lake rathe or rathe mountains and strike him up there. You still should have a backup for at least your low teens to make sure something doesnt slip around your pet and kick your butt in half a second. You have about as much hitpoints at level one as one hit or two of your pet so you would be stomped by a HG in one hit and there goes your one charge of 49 pet.
Also, if you are a melee and using this to PL you are just ******** yourself. This should be for PL a caster since they can get their skills up without fighting mobs whereas a melee who gets PL past his skill will suck major for sometime to come if he used the pet to PL him.
As a 55 necro I still use this pet and he rocks. He can stomp many level 50 warriors toe to toe who aren't twinked with some PoP gear so enjoy him. Be prepared for a long PL session but man will the levels fly if you start with this guy.
C'mon ppl everyone who wants to create a noob ....(fill in class) would love this item to get to like 39+ Visit mistmoore or cazic or even fm and youl be higher then u can dream in just hardly a few hours. You will have to be carefull though: NO discons NO super hard hitters Only play eq and no other things and you will have ur high level char :)
Actually, the level 49 pet is level 37 to 41 (ONLY!) and hits for up to 55 (depending on what you got). Were it lower than 37, then you could potentially summon a green pet at 49, which I never did until I was 50 (13 levels lower at 49+ is green). We used to summon one that hit for 57 (I guess he was level 42) but that got nerfed :( I haven't seen one that hit that high in a very long time.
Still, I find nothing unbelievable about a post of the 52SK getting this item. And what he's saying about it "procing" is that it might not work if you are below a certain level to prevent it from being used to do super-PLing (don't know tho). So he's giving very *useful* information that it *does* work at 52. Now we know that if there is a level limit on it, it's at most 52.
Its the level 49 necro pet spell, which summons a pet which can hit for as little as 45 per hit, or as much as 55 per hit. The pet procs a minor lifetap. The pet is around level 36 - 42, depending on what you summoned.

lols it can be triggered at any level you know seeing as it was in the game since it came out and um if i remember corectly um when game came out max level was 50 but i could be wrong only know that level max was uped to 60 from um 50 when kunark came out
