okie dokey, i have a couple questions. I am a level (just dinged) 33 dwarf paladin. I own a BABS (and a Ghoulbane, but im talking about BABS)... BABS is only worth like 500pp on Drinal. Wurmy is 3-4k. BABS is 2HS, dmg 24 dly 38 2wt.
Wurmy is 1HS, dmg 25 dly 40, which is kind of a worse ratio... ALTHOUGH it IS 1HS not 2HS. Plus it has the str and AC.... But then I think again and say, well wurmys weigh FIFTEEN stones!!! BABS is only 2! And since im a pally, I cant dual weild... so is it worth buying a wurmy for a pally? If so, plz post a good explanation of why I should get it cause I'm really in doubt even with all my fellow pallys holding their wurmys... but if not, plz if u can tell me a good UPGRADE for a PALADIN that I should get... I was told a Mithril 2-Hander, but any other ideas? thanks!

Well, but the Mithril 2hander ( if you apply the haste factor ) becomes 21-29/30 . Much better weapon IMHO , pallies get a lot of high AC bonus stuff , plus own ac spells.. and since you can heal pretty nicely : via root , heal , back to the fry . I would try to save some cash to get some fine armor and buy the Minth 2hander . You already got a Wurmy ? Awesome , grats : get a nice shield .
IMO , rangers and warrriors get much faster weapons to dual weild . This weapon wont help a lot to taunt the mob off the yelling caster :)
Oh , yes . I know what a Wurmy is worth to : You want to be an 00BER twink like those you always have seen around, you want to look S00000 C0000L ! , etc , anc crap lika that ... well , get one - OMG i slayed a DW Caiman being level 8! SO WHAT ? hehe . * Grin * but you will be forgeting how dmg cap works at low levels - .

I would go with the Wurmy because it is 1 more dmg for 2 delay, but it also allows you to use bash then, a shield gives stats ands since u have bash does damage so i would fork up the extra dough and get a wurmslayer and a shield, just me though.

Ok bring the post to paladin forum.
If you want damage...go with mithril 2hander.
If you want more protection...use wurmy with shield.

The reason we are using Wurmslayer is that you can Equip a shield.
So One hand slash is allways better then 2hand slash becouse AC rules..
Whit wurmy that is +5 and a shield lets say + 25 Ac it is 30 more Ac then you have whit a 2 Hs.
And they higher you get the more importent is the AC..So I allways use my Wurmy before a 2 Hs..
