Wanted to say, that yes for you players camping the blade off first island from Thunder princess.....i killed her butt at least 16 times no blade. But after a 2 hour patch, i checked and just like a someone else mentioned after a patch. Sure enough, she had the blade in her hand. I say if u can get some friends. Go up....they drop more common....now time for tha dreaded camping of HATE-Ashenbone Drakes.

We farmed the Spiroc Lord at least 20 times today trying to get both the warrior wingblade drop and the sk BoA drop. Sooner or later the Spiroc Lord will repop and have a sword in his hand; the wingblade looks like a fat-bladed 1hs with a pommel, and the Blade of Abrogation looks more like an old-world 2hs sword graphic.
He's a tough mob to take down, as he DTs every so often but if your raiding force is determined it's a sure way to get your drop.

I have cleared island one 13 times and island 2 once(wiped on it another time). I was beginning to think that this stupid blade doesn't even drop. Then after the patch on 8/20/03, i logged on my cleric(whom i left up on first island as a watchdog), and OMG its true!! she had the blade in her hands. I got a group together fast and rolled up there to kill the princess. Just shows you that perserverance pays off. My advice to anyone who needs this drop and has trouble getting a full Plane of Sky raid together is to clear the first island as much as possible and to leave a 46+ character on first island(cause its non-aggro), then when youre logging on you can quick check if shes got it in her hand. now for the decrepit hide....

The Blade dropped tonight for me! We were the fist time on Plane of Sky and did quite nice with 12 ppl (lvls beetween 51 and 61). It dropped from one of the wandering azaracks on the 2 Isle.

We also saw this in the hand of a Thunder Spirit Princess on Island One this past weekend. I was lucky enough to be the only SK on the raid.
This dropped for our group today off the Thunder Spirit princess on island ONE. We could SEE it in her hand. In fact, we scrambled an SK to get up there so he could be in on the fight.

Yes it is part of Sk epic along with the 2hs soul leach.

3 sowrds are required: Blade of Abrogation (Plane of Air), Soul Leach, Dark sword of Blood (Plane of fear) and Ghoulbane. You also need a decrepit sheat. This is by no means all of the quest, just one of the first parts =)

This dropped off the final split pegasi on the pegasi/ griffin island.

I got one of these off the princess that stands by the KeyMaster on first Isle. Reading this, I was extremly lucky, as this was first series of mobs on first Air Raid. Anyways, just shows you can get lucky sometimes.

Drop info I have most will not like, i have 138 Counterd hours in PoA and 9 Clears (8 Compleat Clears) - And alot of Shor runs to Clear islands 1-6
Drops off: BOSS MOB's and L55+ Common MoB's
Rate of drop seems to be 3 per Clear(s) of PoA
I have seen the Bixie on island 7 drop this as well as the finale split of a Griffin in Peg island (L56-57 MoB)
The only 2 i have seen drop so far - RUMORE has it thay made it slightly more common, But after the last patch of the Epics i didnt see any drop... Sooo i think VI is just messing with us...

I don't know, I hear rumors that 'various mobs drops this in PoA' or 'only the protector of sky can drop this' or 'any mob up to isle 4 can drop this. I don't know what the truth is here. My sense is that it's a really rare drop off a bossmob some between Isle 1- 4.
If anyone has any good information on what mob this drops off, or know for certain if it's ONLY off of the isleland mini-bosses plz post it.

(2) this says either melee (d)its not the only wep sk only that says either melee, and (g)either its bugged or verant is a sly, sly dog giving sk's certain weps they can dual wield and not telling us.
What the hell are you talking about? SK's don't get dual wield, and they'll never be able to dual wield any weapon. Also, a MoSS that says PRIMARY and SECONDARY on it for the slots can only go in Primary for SK's. And a SK can rip up any other class pretty much without dual wield, and a high damage 2hander (40+ damage) owns any caster and most melee's with it's massive damage.

its the guy who said we sk's and pally's should get dual wield(like im alone). why dont you all check out the sk only new 1hb. its dly 30 dmg 20 BUT its been changed to dmg 20 dly 23 (hell yeah.)

I done 13 first island clears and 1 second island clear(and 1 wipe on second). NO BLADE!! Then after the patch on 8/20/03, i logged on my cleric account(i had him sitting on first island as a watchdog), OMG!! It was in the thunder spirit princess hand! I quick got a my brother Jibberjabber up there(64 bard, mad AAs), then Jibb, my boy Lerkin(46 chanter), and me(58SK)took this chick down with ease. My advice to anyone doin this part of epic is if you have trouble gettin the GIANT team together that is needed for a real Plane of Sky raid, just keep portin up there and clearing that first island. Its also a good idea to leave a 46+ character up there as a lookout(since first island is non-aggro)..just log him/her on and see if its in her hand. Persevere and itll be yours )
