Currently, DoN crystals are selling for between 200 and 300pp. At the 200pp value, the cost of this bow is effectively 50kpp. The Elemental bows are typiclaly selling for between 20 and 30kpp.

This bow versus the elemental bows:
range is 20 less
saves are ~10 less
no archery bonus
higher required/recommended level
other stats are about the same (depending on which ele bow you compare with)
damage/delay (with 11 damage arrow) is about 10% worse

Am I missing something, or why would someone choose this bow?

just wanted to point out... potentially, it is FREE, yes FREE FREE FREE. and on top of being FREE, you are going to get a couple more AA's doing the missions to get your 250 crystals... ie, four nest runs...

Just my 2 cp worth.. think outside of the box, or even better, "What box?"
