I agree it is very nice for casters, lets not forget though that alot of warriors use the shield/sword combo while tanking as a ac boost. It would be a great war addition also, but it definately says caster all over it =).

warpedmonkey you do know you can use the 1.5 / 2.0 from inventory right? so this is a good sheild for clerics

cleric epic has better mana then this, as well as a better focus. It should probally go to other classes first, due to the fact that no one except clerics have a shield that rivals this, at this point in the game. All other pure casters should b allowed a first crack at this before anyone else.

The agro reduction from epic doesn't work unless you equip it does it? I don't know, I'm asking. If not, I'm not sure I would give up the agro reduction for this as a cleric. But that's just my opinion of course... everyone plays differently.

hmm item kinda sucks for clerics. dont get me wrong, this sheild is probally the best in the game. but remember this cleric 1.5/2.0 is a shield so u cant use both. kinda a drag since most casters use 2.0 and this shield in the end game. but it comes down to clerics using anguish/don weapons and then choosing skull/divinity

The paly epic 1.5/2.0 is a 2hs weapon. You can get 1hs swords now that do more damage than the 1.5 and the shield/weap combo blows the 2.0's stats out of the water. Same thing with SKs. This causes the 2.0 to be a showpiece and an inventory clicky so its not only clerics.

Anyone know if that focus is on DOTs or just nukes?

In the clicky effect it says Screech. Anybody care to elaborate on that if they know exactly what it does?
If a druid tanks in a forest, and nobody is around to see it, is he uber?

Screech is a placeholder really, it's only purpose is to make it impossible that two items with Screech in Slot 6 may stack (that is: all Form of .... clickies).

I wonder if it stacks with other ac buffs like conviction.
It does. This ac buff only conflicts with PoTime+ click buffs called "Form of <something>", and Eternal/Chaotic Ward, which are also PoTime+ click buffs.
