been farming the spirit stags in arcstone, the y are dropping i seem to be getting about 1 ever 5 or so kills but they are dropping hope this helps

dropped at the very top, only time i've ever seen it after helping several guildies farm the zone for their DoN progression.

havn't seen one myself in the Ellusive kirin task.

Killed at least a dozen kirin in Ascent - no luck. A guildy gave me a horn - but didn't remember which zone he scored it in - he had just been carrying it around for awhile - heh.

Found a See invis Cat on the upper part of the Ascent that almost wiped us out - which was a PITA - discouraged us from plowing to top kirin area to farm kirins. meh.

It seems that the demand for this item is its use in the Interplanar Brain Blaster. I gathered/made stacks of the other items required (Vodka, Camphor, Mint, Marsh Gas, Olive, Melted Glacier Whisky, Air-infused Spring Water) hoping to acquire at least some horns and get me Brewing to 300.

I have been on several DoN missions killing the Kirin...alas none have dropped. The bazaar has yet to list one =/ Meanwhile, my inentory is flooded with the other items...

So, for those who are hoping to get to Master Brewer but who are having the same problem, I recommend Glacier Mountain Tonic - a variation of Glacier Tonic, that uses Taelosian Mountain Tea Leaves instead of regular Taelosian Tea Leaves and has a trivial of 303. All of the ingredients are the same otherwise, and are easily obtained.

May this recipe give you the skills you desire and the ineventory slots you need =)

once Kind of Kirin Horn our Guildmembers found are even called "Impeccable Kirin Horn". not usuable for the Blaster :-/

Kaladim Constitutionals are much easier to make for getting skill ups. Just make a level 1 dorf and park him at the farm in North Kaladim and collect the ground spawns. Every couple of minutes, you get enough for 7 attempts. And the final drink is somewhat marketable too.

Elusive Kirin task in stillmoon temple

I've done the Elusive Kirin task 4 times. There's a kirin that spawns in the room east of the Elusive's lair. I've killed it twice. First time was some sort of teacher (named?). The second time it had a more common sounding name. I looted a horn off of one of those two (don't remember which one). Of the four elusive kirin kills, haven't seen horn drop.

Follow up... I've done the Elusive Kirin about a dozen more times. Teacher seems to be up about 1/2 the time, so it doesn't seem to be that special. Of the kirin's I've killed doing this task, none of them have dropped the horn (cept for whichever it was that dropped it in one of the first 4 I did).

Someone claimed he did get a horn in Ascent but I tried and came up empty, too.

tried to farm them at the end of ascent-zone, where the kirin spot is. there are 1 roamer, a static spot with 3 kirin's and a static spot with one. farmed this spots 6 hours non stop and didnt got a horn. lots of brains and some other useless drops there.
but i'll still find out where they drop. if anyone could help me it would be great.

Most Likely A Stillmooon temple drop since I have got other Kiran parts there - possibly on the loot table in THunder Isle.
