Seems like a lot of trouble to make for just drinking or skilling up. Is there any other use for this?

These types of brews are used essentially as SoW potions.The higher the Intoxication level, the stronger of a SoW potion you have. If you don't have the minimum alcohol tolerance though, you will suffer SERIOUS drunkness and no SoW benefits.

lol To be perfectly honest, I see no point to these types of items. The components are not easy to come by and seems a lot of a waste ot time in general..
