You mean healers.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't consider Rangers or Beastlords healers. He meant wis casters, which describes those people who cast spells using a mana pool, who's size is based upon their wisdom.

It's just you. :p

Rangers are most definitely a heal class. I regularly spam heals on Inc, patch the main healers when they are eating ae/aggro damage, keep rogues alive when they are eating ramp, as well as keep my own **** alive. 3-4k heals are not token heals, if a ranger isn't casting their heal spell, tehy are not using their full utilization. I dont know beastlord spells/aa's very well, but i am assuming tehy have similiar aa's and base spell's to make them a substantial utility healer as well.

You could have a bazillion AAs and max out your healing all you want but a ranger is definitely not considered to be a healing class.

Ask the rogues in my groups if they consider my ranger a healer adn they will most definetly tell you yes. If a ranger isn't healing, when needed, he isn't playing his class. I spam heals on inc, patch the main healers so they can stay on tank ..... and basically help support auxillary heals. I dont know much about beastlords, but I am assuming they have same heals, aa's to make 3-4k crit heals a regular part of their game.

Well, I'd say you're either low on priests (which isn't uncommon these days) or they're not doing a good job. Rangers can be excellent sustained DPS, provided they don't spend their time playing healer. Priests should realize that and let the rangers do their actual job. I would never wear this as a ranger; much better alternatives out there.
