Did DoN in the instanced version of ascent today (death comes swiftly.) says the coarse spider silk drops off crevice weaver. This coarse spider silk dropped off another spider there besides the crevice weaver. It can't be that ultra rare because during one mission it dropped 3 times. This was our first time doing this DoN or maybe just luck. Have read the coarse spider silk only drops during a DoN in instanced version of ascent off a spider weaver but there are crevice weaver spiders in the ascent zone itself. Not sure if they actually do drop off them there but we will be trying it to find out. Any updated info on this will be posted.

In Antonious Bayle it sells for 60k each on Bazaar.
On Stromm these things sell for 40-50k each = 100kish per swatch making DoN GM gear not worth makeing when masters gear is only like 20 np/mana less and you can buy most of that for 5k or less. The Devs really blew it on this item.

I got two of these today and both of the dropped off of "a crevice weaver" in the mission Death Comes Swiftly.

My best luck in producing these little suckers is Death Comes Swiftly. I have done about 50 of these missions. My best luck in getting them was when there were only 3 or 4 people in the instance. I have never seen one drop when in a full group. I have also seen them drop off of all different types of spiders in the missions, including the boss it. I dont know if there is any merit behind the less than full group to get them to drop, but if you're looking to farm them, it might be worth a shot.

Only ever seen it drop in instanced version of The Ascent (Death Comes Swiftly DoN mission, to be precise). Can't remember the name of the spiders in there though ;(

Given the stat upgrades of GM silk over Masters silk is so.. well..pitiful , about +20mana iirc). Paying 40k+ (let alone the 150k per silk I saw on TP/Bert earlier today) is.. retarded.

Wow. this is all conjectured pricing. you all are trying to set the price, not reporting actual pricing.

I have seen this drop in Accrused Nest, I've tried all mission available there. This drop is ultra rare. I would expect to see this sell in bazaar for 40kpp+ because of it's drop rate. I personally have gotten 1 drop per 2 or 3 missions. I have yet to see a single piece of cultural silk for sale in bazaar on Fennin Ro server. I'm basing my price projections on current prices of Metallic Drake Scles and Glossy Drake Hides which are running between 20k-25k, and they have a much better drop rate in easy TC and Stillmoon instanced zones.

We need to get the pricing on this into the system peeps :) Answer away. Seen them on many servers for 5K, some clueless dolts price them at 40K tho. Prolly just to protect their back with plat as they need it and want compesation if it sells. But yeah. Mostly 5-6K. I entered 5.5K :)

Scales drop in the instanced zone, now does this silk drop in teh ascent, or an instanced version of Ascent? Ive killed quite a few spidys in the reg zone and nothing...

Found to drop in the ascent on the other side of stillmoon from the spiders there....one confirmed is Crawling Warder and there are a few more types of spiders in there, but the drop is uncommmon, in the instanced zone atleast
Where does it drop, some more info, feed my need for more info =).
