Posted: Feb 26 2005 at 1:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I was looking at this item and noticing how bad the stats are compared to the othe "Aged" items out of VP. So i checked up on the original item and the stats are the same other than added hp/mana/end. The only class i would think that would want this is a rogue for off hand since by the time you get here, War's and Shd's should have better. Blade of Disruption for Shd's for example and thats bazaar gear. They really need to upgrade this item to make it actually usable.
It has the effect Drain Spirit on it.

With all of the "aged" items in VP, they are made better than the items with the name originally. Look at https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2649 It has the proc on it that's where it got it's name originally. Also in the link you'll see that the only 3 able to use it are war,shd, and rog. That's why they're the only ones able to use it still!!! Just because it says "lifestealing" doesn't mean that it must still have the proc on it.

Scimitar of Lifestealing.... Someone please tell me this has a lifetap proc.... Because it's not shown here and that's just sad

Yes, I agree that it would be sad if this didn't STEAL LIFE FROM YOUR OPPONENTS!

Not to defend Sony on the name but there is more then just that one possible meaning....any weapon could be seen as a "liefstealer" if you can kill something with it.
Though given the nature of the game some form of lifetap proc would make sense.
