What is the advantage of "Specialize Conjuration: +12%"
I realize our mezzes are a Conjuration skill, but does this mean our mezzes will last longer or be harder to resist?

Specialization skills determine one of two things: the chance to fizzle a spell, and the mana cost when casting a spell. If you have a modifier like this one, it will increase your specialize conjuration skill by 12% of whatever it presently is, giving you even more of the skill to allow for less fizzles and less mana usage when casting any spell using this skill. Obviously for enchanter, the big one on this is Enthrall type spells. Just got the piece in ang tonight on raid, will be happy to have this.
It means, anything that any spell of type conjuration will have a chance to fizzle less and use less mana. Of course that is assuming you already have some Specialize Conjuration skill. If you specialized in something else then +12% of 0 is still zero

looking at this it for Enchanter only but when I look it up from quest in MPG it for all the caster classes which is right?

the quest is for all silk wearers, meaning they turn in the same items. however the result of the quest is a class specific item.
