Has anyone figured out a good spot to camp for the Kyv hoods? Any place where they could be soloed even?

As you run from DS to WOS through Noble's Causeway, you will cross a bridge quite close to the WOS zone (last one before you hit the zone in fact). The end of the bridge is a safe spot to stop as long as you don't get too close to the Dragorn guards. Looking back across the bridge, you will see an acun dog guy of some sort. Pull him and kill him (he comes solo). Just beyond him, back towards the DS zone, there are 2 Kyvs. If you pull one, you will generally get both of them, along with a third mob guarding an arch. With clicky-root pants, I was able to pull the three mobs across the bridge, keep them rooted, and kill them. I'd first get root on all 3, malosinia them all (root rarely broke after this), slow them, Malicious Decay them all, then Ultor, Bane, Saryrn, and epic 1.0 them down. None of them summon or gate at any point. Remember to reapply Turgur's, and toss in Quiessence for heals. I had trouble getting VP3 to stick for very long even after debuffing disease, so don't rely on it.

Make sure you kill the kyv's first before you drop that extra mob (forget the name of it). Once the camp is broken you'll be able to single pull them as they spawn. Don't forget to pull and kill that extra mob after the kyvs are dead, or he'll come at you on a kyv pull. I've killed 8 of the kyvs so far and gotten one hood.

I only have 3500 HP unbuffed, and was able to do this fairly safely with Virtue, kei, and self buffs beyond those. Canni 5 is a godsend for this as my 5k mana pool wasn't nearly enough.

Hope this helps

edit: Have now killed 20 total and still have only the one hood from before.
