Note that it is only usable by dual wield classes. A 1hs for knight classes, off a mob of this level of difficulty, would have a MUCH better ratio than 16dmg/18dly.

I agree with you, xaanru, that you do want a better weapon if you can't dual wield. At the same time, you have to acknowledge the point above that a knight should be able to use a long sword.

Just because something isn't a good idea doesn't mean it shouldn't be available.
