With the help of posted notes I was able to loot this as a ground spawn easily. However, I find the color of the sphere to be gray-blue, rather than green. I think the colors are transposed. Already in my inventory I had a white sphere . My hand notes reported that it came from Twilight Sea. (The Twilight Sea specimen is blue-gray on this site.) Furthermore, I am seeing the names of the items are all SPHERE, not Crystal. But in further confusion, Magelo is also identifying the white one as Prismatic Crystal, without further clarification as to whence it came. When I cast Identify, what comes up is Lore, Prismatic CRYSTAL - no clarification as to the source. CONFUSED am I!

The color of the icon of the item in a item window rarely ever matches the actual color of the item in game. Developers don't usually make the icons match.

Where are you seeing the names of the items are sphere?

I do not know what beset upon me. I have all four of the items now. As I look at each, each is named Prismatic Crystal. Of course, the exchanged images of the two is still problematic should time elapse in the collection of them. There is no other easy way of identifying what you have and where you must still go. (I do recognize that there is a way of getting an id number of the item, but that is not easy.)

Regarding the previous post, 4225, -5611 is in the middle of the ocean in the northeast corner of the map. I found no crystal at this loc.

If you put the line posted in your map file, it is correct. Map file locations and in-game locations are slightly different.

The line:
P 4225.9346, -5611.9395, 11.7969, 240, 240, 0, 3, Prismatic_Crystal
translates to an in-game location of 5611.9395, -4225.9346, 11.7969
Reverse the first two numbers, and reverse both of their signs to swap between in-game and map formats.

And the listed:
Ground spawn at location +5613, -4228.
can be translated to a map file location of:
P 4228, -5613, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3, Ground_spawn

Refer to Basic Map File Contents

Why are you people posting locations for a Crystal in a different zone than the one this thread is about? I for one find it very aggravating that you can't look for the correct page to post your locations on. People who come here looking for a location for Timorous Deep see your locations and make the assumption that it's a valid location for the zone they looked up. Learn to post correctly! I would think you'd look at the subject heading and be able to figure out this is about Timorous Deep, NOT Veksar. If we wanted the location for Veksar, we'd be on THAT page.
