Yes, but this has more hp/mana and resists. So, at least for harder situations, where you'll be spending your time healing, this hammer will be better.
True, but the differences are fairly minor, and it's not really worth it for a cleric if these things go for 365000 plat each imo. I mean +17 DR and +12 CR plus mana boost is nice, but are these things worth the kind of money these things go for. I say no, since the primary reason for getting one of these is for meleeing and clerics already had something better. Chances are with the money you save, you can get all the stats back you lose with better gear from the money you get from this, and THEN some as a cleric. But of course, if you're a cleric with super uber gear all around, and don't need the money, you don't really have to consider if you should equip this or not, since plat is worth a lot less to you.. *shrugs*
