isn't so bad. actually i want it. i have better. i'm a rogue, with a dod in main and ifir in off. but i'd like this for weaponry trial in mpg...and to raise my skill from 250-270 :p

and one of the posts earlier talked about ppl at high lvls and crap gear. yup plenty of high lvl ppl out there that suck and have horrid gear. and i question how they got to such a high lvl. but, everyone has friends, and many have friends in high end guilds that they group with as well.

anyway, not such a bad weapon ;-)

is this a trash drop from random mobs?

You seem to think that everyone around this level has good gear when they don't because i have seen people in there that don't have good gear, and i have seen Warrior's that have 14k HP and Cleric's with 10k mana.
I was grouped with a Warrior who only had 7k HP unbuffed at 70 - we had to get another one because he simply couldn't handle the mobs.

And besides, this is a fairly nice weapon anyway, i myself have better but it IS nice.

You need to think before you talk mate.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 31 2004 at 4:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Grats rot if this drops...if your fighting in Riftseekers, you likely already have much better by then. Even the stats are not anywhere even par to early PoP stuff besides the dly/dmg.

So what you think that only people with EP/Time+ gear should be in RSS? How bout the rest of the casual players that don't raid everyday? The rest of the EQ community wants to get better gear too, and fer a DPS class, this lil thing ain't bad at all.

You go ahead and be disappointed when this drops, i'm pretty sure someone else will be glad it did, and use it for what a weapon is meant for...DMG.

Fooking high and mighty, i'm better than thou attitudes will get you nowhere. Cept knocked off the pedestal by the overpowering number of people without EP+ gear. Step back down to our lvl of gameplay @$$hole.

Don't expect to do well in RSS if you aren't fairly heavily-AA'ed and pretty decently equipped. This is especially true of the tank and healer, but you aren't doing your group any favors if you are DPS/CC/Slower and aren't similarly set up. RSS is not designed as a casual pickup-group zone for the average EQ player. Hitting level 69 allows you to zone into RSS, but it doesn't mean that you can survive easily or long; after all, its the top non-raid zone in the expansion.
proc?

Even the underrated Frostbringer has the effect "Frostbite" on it.

You'd think a weapon named frostCALLER would have a nice frost proc, if it is going to have any proc, given the mob, the level, and where it drops . . . perhaps its like E.T. . . . calling home.

I would prefer the claw to a frost proc. You do realize that Claw of Bestial Fury has a -300 MR modifier to it? This weapon is a very slight upgrade from the Bloodforge Hammer that drops in MPG. I might have expected one that stood out a little more from that in the easier zone.
