They aren't that hard to get. They drop more often in RCoD than they do in WoS though. And not enough camp in RCoD. Plus being an item that anyone who wants the plate arms would need. Although, ac 41 for arms nowadays isn't that great.
I've dropped 15k for a couple parts I needed (helm and boots), but by today's standards, I'd think 5k to 10k max is reasonable.

these are being sold on tunare for 2k-5k
Our guild cleared for the necro epic 2.0 fight- and two quills dropped. We basically gathered at the gnome and cleared to the fight room. Seems drop rate has been fixed.

I have hunted NC till blue in the face... no Quills every thing else for other class's wot a pain!!!

Check out the info again. These quills are droped in RCoD and WoS. Won't find any in NC.

I've spent a LOT of time in camping Bowlord Rorn, I've personally gotten 3 people the quest ring from Bowlord Rorn and so many kills of Tyrian and Bowlord that all the droppable items they have are trash to anyone in my guild. I've seen a total of 2 quills during all this time, but they do indeed drop at this camp.
Drops at Kyv Bowhound as well. Off the ph. I'm one of those screwy people that hope for the ph instead of named.

I found this on the vendor in the guild lobby that sells corpse summoning stones. It cost 1 copper.

I saw quite a few ukuns kill my bf's rogue when he was exploring the NEish tunnel areas ( download maps ) They saw through his SoS, so not sure how safe the place is.

They drop from the 2 Elite Ukuns in rcod NW camp. Camp setup is in room with felligno the slayer. One ukun ist part ofe Bowlord Rorn camp and the other ist besides Tian Ryanda spawnspot. They also drop Ashlock branches and .
I had 2 quills 4 branches and 7 leashs in 50h camping - but the damned bowlord is to drop the gauntless still ;-((

Ok, ok, are we SURE these drop off of elite ukuns in RCoD? I mean, I have camped Bowhound (and its elite ukun PHer) for nigh on a month now and no quill. I get plenty of Ashlock Branches and Bristling Ukun Hides, but no quill. Can anyone post where they got their ukun quill?
Moreover, if it IS truely off elite ukuns in RCoD, then does anyone know a good place to camp them? I mean, the bowhound PHer/named only pops once every 20 minutes or so. Is there a place in RCoD where say, 20 elite ukuns all spawn in one room? or close together? This would make for an easier camp for sure.

Look folks we are getting a RAW deal on our Plate Arm drop's.
1. I am a Shopper / Dumpster Diver who has been checking NPC merchants 5 - 6 days a week for months now looking for a Ukun Quill. I have checked all 4 pvp servers for a month before they merged. On average I check up to 30+ NPC merchants per day per server. In addition I have yet to see 1 PC merchant selling a Ukun Quill.
Ok with that said let me tell you what I did find. EVERY OOW DROP ITEM IN THE GAME both 1 & 2 tier quest drops for All types of Armor.
My merchant on Zek has 2 to 10 of EACH oow quest drop item. With the exception of Ukun Quill's.
I offered to trade White Gold Inlay for a Ukun Quill. After months of looking and farming someone finally bit and wanted <gulp> 2 White Gold Inlay's for his one Ukun Quill. Naturally I told the greedy bastage to kiss my A$$.
ONLY WAY IT WILL BE FIXED IS EVERYONE EMAIL and just say it doesnt drop. Fix bug or we Riot. (Yes we all know it will drop sometimes for lucky punks who love to brag about how it only took them 5 min to score 2.) So pretend it does not drop and send them emails and it will get fixed.

Do these only drop in RCOD? Sort of a pain in the ass place to farm drops from trash mobs. Has anyone seen these drop in DS or NC?
