Omens of WarWell, for those that say this is rare, you are right, but no more rare, or less, than the Kuuan Whetstones. A group of level 75 raid geared members pumeled through mobs in the first room on the right once heading upstairs...where many of these companion chimera and commanded chimera roam freely. There is also a named that spawns in this room, the name of which evades me, but is not marked on the map. We got two of these things to drop within 5 kills of each other, but after farming here for well over 2 hours still no Kuuan Whetsontes *cry*

Trying to get info about this gut string and I was pulling what hair I have left over it. So little is typed about out it yet its an important piece for CoA armor.
I went to RSS and camped Chimeras for 3 hours. Not a one dropped, which should be a solid indication of something. This item is more then just.... rare. If your doing groups for this item, its almost better not to even expect to find it, just drill as fast as you can through highly populated areas where chimeras are. They seem to only drop off of the companion chimeras and there are roughly 3 to 4 differnt types of chimeras in RSS so DONt get them comfused.. If you get more then one gut String in a camp, your beyond lucky!

Been in RSS for 3 days camping pet focus. Not common at all. Got 4 in probably 50 chimera kills , and only 2 roamers in the camp.
So if you are fortunate enough to have the coa piece , then you have nothing better to do then camp it /wink

Also this is dropable, try to look in bazaar or your guild bank for it.. If you find it in a guild bank your doing incredible. I went to bazaar on the nameless server and only 1 was there for 1400pp. I bought it and I checked my guild bank... no luck. I checked with 4 other high raid guilds and requested the possiblity of buying it from them or friends in their guilds. Again, none of them had it. If other guilds have this chances are they will use it for armor. If you find it in the bazaar expect it to go for more the 1400. a guildy told me she bought hers for 24k each.
