Got one yesterday from an Elite Ukun Bloodbeast, Ungi's ph. Definately said bloodbeast, even though I don't see one on the mob list.

I had tried camping these chains for one of my toons near the kyv bowhound and killed tons of ukuns with no luck. Today I was killing Ungi the Swift to get the quest piece for the tier one armor and we got 3 chains off of him in about 6 hours. Not sure if this was just good luck, but at least it gives you a better chance to get some.

There is now way these are common. As a guild we've done a ton of Xping in RCoD and seen 1, yes just 1, drop. I don't think it's common.

2 droped form kyv bowhound
another two form the mobs in the vicinity of kyv bowhound spawn point. One from the PH (ukun death...) and one from a KYV Eyesearcher.
PH to named ratio was 3:2 - spawncycle is apr. 20 Minutes. Pay attention on SOULDRAINER (named con red to 68)- he screws your party up - is like SH in WoS.

The Ukun to the south of the statue on the hill, or an ukun from north (and way above) of the statue?
The drop rate really is screwed IMHO... I think they made the crest the common drop, seen 9 of the damn things this last week and NO chains. :(

droped from an ukun on top of hill next to the statue
We got two off Ukuns up by Bowlord Rorn. Im sure they can come off any Ukun in the zone. There just aren't alot of ukuns around.

Weelystew: which Ukuns dropped chains for your group? Not the PH for Kyv Bowhound, because if so we're screwed. spent 6 hours the other day killing the PH, got one Bowhound and about 20 PHs... no chains

drops off any Ukun in Ruined City of Dranik. Not sure if it drops off any ukun anywhere - doubt it seriously.
Not sure if the Ukuns in the Sewers/Catacombs drop it.
We've only seen 2 chains but have equipped 3 people with full sets of bows. There just don't seem to be alot of Ukuns around In RCoD.

an elite ukun boneretriever in The Ruined City of Dranik
