so found this for my bard today and to me the name implies it could be attached to a trade skill or quest ...
I look on here and see its listed above with neither tag just like in game but to right where you can skip down in list to the ..." { merchants / quests / comments } " ... sections typically if is not for a quest it wont have that area in the list will just be merchants and comments.
So my question is:
is this for a quest to complete the " unfinished " trumpet or is it not for any quest at all?
because to me and maybe I haven't found a better item more similar to those I'm about to mention, but by itself the 10% to brass instrument based songs makes it a pretty crappy low level item when other low level items such as mandolin are 100% to string based songs or hand drum are 80% to percussion based songs.

To my knowledge there are no quests or tradeskills associated with this item, and with the semi-recent update which added QUEST tags to many missing items this one is still bare.
What is odd is there are 2 other brass instruments with the same modifier also found on Ghul Rustem in South Qeynos, the "Trumpet Valves" and "Horn Mouthpiece", but neither are also used in anything to my knowledge. Why the Unfinished Brass Trumpet appears on so many General Supplies vendors across the world is anyone's guess, but it likely was just part of the default vendor list like Water Flasks, Torch, Iron Ration etc. '
The quest "Custom Naliedin Lute" tasks the player with buying several different lute parts off vendors but all of those items are corrected quest tagged ingame. These trumpet/horn pieces may have initially been intended for the same purpose but got lost in the creation process back when they were making classic Everquest, and are still around but their modifier is so low that nobody would use them.
Anywho, I've removed the Quest flag on these 3 items from Alla to reduce any confusion, I tried handing them in to Belious Naliedin who claims to be a builder of instruments but he wasn't interested. In the off chance anyone happens to find a quest that uses any of these items please let us know.

Happened across Unfinished Brass Trumpet in Lesser Faydark on Anelia Thrywiel.
Unfinished Brass Trumpet costs 0 plat 1 gold 3 silver 8 copper sold by Ghul Rustem on the dock in South Qeynos (buyer level 2 human female monk with 143 charisma) I have verified its location on this vendor 4 times in the last two weeks and we had a large patch that reset everything on vendors during that same two weeks... No quantity, so no limit to supply on vendor?
