Yes, this item is 100% tradeable. If you are lucky enough to find a rogue who wishes to get rid of this item and not do the illusion, you can complete it as a bard. The entire quest can be done in about 20 minutes.
2 Bards with Divine Barrier song up. Bard kites mob with max movement and lev. To turn small turns. Bard Fades (after getting the quad dots going). Kite length of zone, and at one end, kiting bard uses DB to turn 180 degrees. At other end bard spams macro to other bard to Cast DB. repeat, if run out of time for DB, use fade.
yes it does have to do with the scarecrow illusion mask. I got mine done tonight. December 9th 2004 at like 2am EST. You need to kill 5 Flighty Azure Wisps. Each hit for abot 1200's and fast. Slowable and easily one groupable. You have 10 minutes to kill it once you zone in then it depops, so you need to zone in after your group and have a tracker ready. They run at bard speed so they cant be kited. The spawn zones are North Karana, Swamp of No Hope, Befallen, Stonebrunt Mountains and Plane of Growth. One you collect the 5 light stones you combine them with the noggin in an oven and it gives you the Guise of Horror. You can see it on my Magelo. http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=821713 It must be equipped to use in the head slot. Bard Rogue only. Is Magic Lore item No Drop has 4 ac +13 Cha +7 sv magic wt. is 0.04 Effect : illusion Scarecrow ( must equip 6.0 Cast) race all. Enjoy =)

Replyed to you post just to say Thanks for quitting Charsion. People that use showEQ and other hacks helped kill the game. So /wink eyb..
Tal,
Edit:
I take that back. The fact that Sony made untrackable mobs is a part of the reason people use ShowEq. Playing on a red server, i have seen it being abused so badly that it annoys me greatly, especially since my main is a Ranger. Not being able to track specific mob's down trivializes our roles even more.
Where is the rp experience in traking every single mob inside the game and of course having your guild following staedily behind its rangers prepaired to ambush it. Think about it...
They're rare floaty glowing things of special importance. why be such a stubborn ass about it, Talonius and Charsion, and actually stop complaining and do some quests with challenge and enjoy it. It would prolly bring back SOME value lost over the years, maybe...
