I Average 4-5 per clearing of ferans in NC.
Korofax only has 2 ferans in the entire zone, so its a bad place to farm.

roughly 8% drope rate off the NC Ferans, 20% off the Kor Ferans

For these to be "rare" killed 15 ferans, got 6 to drop ..

For the first time Im going to say that something should not be labeled as rare. Id say at MOST these are uncommon. For the past 3 days ive been camping the massive bazu. There are 2 feran stalkers on my way back and forth through the 4 battle-scared bazu placeholders. Frome these 2 feran stalkers in 3 days I had over a stack of these tenticles.
Also, in the past i would camp the Feran Packleader (not a common spawn)when all the other camps were taken and these would drop pretty often from regular ferans. Now take into account that im not looking for these things so of course they seem to drop off every other feran I kill. But id say uncommon at most.

Used to make the Boot Gasket which is used to make the Collapsed Distillery, Ice Cream Churn, and Steam Powered Piston.
The third kill I got lucky and one of these dropped. 30 kills later I have not seen a second. These maybe shouldn't be listed as common. I'll post when I find a second one.

A second dropped 40 kills after the 1st drop. I would vote this item to be uncommon instead of common or rare. I'm hope for 4-7 of these and it's good solo XP so I'll post when I get more and see how the trend runs.

Dropped from tamed bazu herder in Noble's Causway
Camping deranged feran in NC tonight. This dropped off one of the ferans at the camp.
