The "Brass Key" has nothing to do with Najena. It's given by Marlin in return for a "Silk Evening Tunic" in the Princess Lenya quest.

The Najena Guards drop a shiney METAL key, or guards key ring. Key ring is for Jail, the metal key is for one of Rathyls doors (other key from Bone Cracker).
