Clicky Effect Sucks.
I got the BP myself thinking that 5 minute Selo's Song of Travel would be awesome.
The truth? Since it's an invis song, it also has random duration, thus it has a random duration on everyone in your group.
Pretty much useless with random duration if you ask me. Never used them again after I had noticed.

Need to know a few things please. Is this armor MQ at all? Also, the info at the tops says its from skyshrine, it appears its not from sky at all, the plate is from TOV and the gems are from Skyshrine as well as many other locations. My last question is what would be better, the Wind-worn BP or this one? Stats on Windworn rock but no effect, is this effect worth it? I have 3 AA's in innate running.

I duno about your other questions but I know how much I use Song of Travel...
put it this way, I only use it when I am traveling alone through a dangerous (KOS) zone or if I am traveling through a very hilly zone where I could actually die from fall damage...
so... not worth it... get the windworn bp.

Dont know if someone has selo speed song mixed up with the travel song but you cannot sing this song and have it last 5 minutes without re-singing it heheh even the song you may be mixing this up with only lasts 2 and a half minutes. hehe The only thing that makes this a nice effect to have is a situation where you would just die for one more song slot hehe. This song is very short duration if the bard does not continue with it, a pulse or two at the most.
I'm pretty sure that this click effect has a long duration. The bard levitation song is only 18 seconds normally, but lasts 5 minuts when clicked from singing steel boots
Besides, if it only lasted 18 seconds it would be worthless... what can you do with 18 seconds of invis/lev/speed? it's not like item click effects continue on like songs do until unclicked.

this is a very nice bp how hard is it to get and is it easier to get then the thurgadain bp quest

Well the faction is harder to get up and then you must be able to go on raids in the east wing of the temple of Veeshan. This requires a stronger group of people then raiding the kael arena.

Actually the effect could be quite usefull. I magine trying to get your entire guild through Kael for instance. Everyone gets into groups of 5 and invites the Bard one by one. The Bard clicks the effect and then drops giving the party 5 minutes to make their run through. Not to mention that someone always gets left behind due to lag whenever I try to run a group through a zone quickly. This effect would allow the lagging member to make it to the other end of the zone without having to run back and find them. Very usefull indeed.

The effect on this BP does not work indoors. It gives about 5 minutes of speed, lev, invis, and see invis. Also, the effect is not as fast as the regular song when played with a drum, even if you use a drum when clicking, the speed is same as without a drum (about sow speed.) Can be useful in a few situations though. Overall, this is one of the best BPs in game for bards.

Like why would the hunt give to a bard, a rare drop item, that would benefit a warrior or other tank class more. I haven't seen a bard yet on Ayonae Ro with anything better than Crustacean on. Including the 60th level ones I see running around.

If thats the case your either blind or your bards are stupid. I just parked in PoG ... offered my services and got a PoG BP easily. There are so few bards that they always rot. Its the second best thing after this bp and much better then Crustacian. Alot of bards on my server run with nice bp, but maybe they're just more resourceful then the ones on your server.

You should think a little more before you post also, to get this bp you have to loot the plate armor from the testing halls and turn it in with the bp gems. The plate armor works for any plate users, i.e. warriors as the guy you tried to flame said. So sad when you see a level 56 put his foot in his mouth like that.

every item that has low weight isnt always meant for monks...bards also have low weight capacity. not as low as monks, but low
LOL WEIGHT did you even bother to look at the stats for everyone but a monk this would mean it has negative weight because it has +11 str and 9 weight thats 3 extra pounds you can carry so be quiet

Bards have low weight capacity ??? Well at low lvls yes they do but by the time your even high enough lvl to get this you should have more then enough Str to carry almost anything. At lvl 55 I have 141 Str and an Extra 55 pounds of carrying capacity.

the effect is worthless, you have to restart it like what every minuite im guessing on the duration. if you lose invis due to some creature seeing you you lose all the effects of the song... so the click effect that you think is so awesome is gone. you lose the speed lev... see invis everything. its got to be the most worthless effect ever.

Then it stand that the song itself must be the most useless song ever. But it's not, it's pretty darn useful. And I don't know about you, but at level 60 there is about 14-15 songs I wish I could have memmed at all times. Anything to save a spell slot is worth it's weight in plat to me.

BTW, this is NOT the highest AC a bard can get, there is a BP called Troubadours Breastplate which has 54 AC.

Why are some of you talking about warrior armor...this is a bard only BP. It is the highest AC a bard can get. Because it's the best for ac, it's supposed to be a real pain.
Get a full suit of thurgadin armor, you have to friggin camp temple of veeshan for weeks to get enough armor pieces to even think about start doing your quests for kael.
Just kill guys in kael for armor and gem drops then get a full suit of your thurgadin armor.
Or better yet, just keep slicin and dicin stuff in plane of growth / hate and get your velious armor, that takes about 1 / 10th the time to get a full suit compared to kael drops.
Dont waste your time with kael drops people, a warrior can get 1350 ac easy without kael armor, just need to keep huntin the high lvl stuff for the high ac items. There is NO reason people should have to endure temple of veeshan for armor drops. esp when you have to go deep to get any decent drops.

I'm going to give you the benifit of the doubt on this one that you posted this in the wrong place or something. your posts are normally very good.
Im suprised by you, with you being a sage and all, you should know the difference between warriors and bards. Bards can't get the ac that warriors and other tanks have. This bp is awesome for a bard even though there is better but still, this is a nice bp and I would love to have it on my bard.
What he is trying to say is that since all of the plate users in the guild have to compete for the armor drops that it may be faster to do it in the way he described.
In other words, he's talking about the return on your time investment versus the gain in power from the drops recieved.
IE What is the fastest way to gain the most power for your guild? SS and Kael armor is superior to Thurg armor in almost every respect, but it takes longer, is more of a pain to get and is not THAT big of an upgrade in most cases. It's a big upgrade over Kunark armor, but not over Thurg/PoG.
Get your guild all geared up and you'll be good to go for a lot of encounters. Taking the time to get SS/Kael armor may or may not be needed, depending on levels, AA and numbers. I'm surprised that you guys didn't pick up on that.

Bard Kael Breastplate has 54 AC. These BPs are a lot harder to get than a Trakanon BP. The mighty poison dragon himself probably couldn't break past the first room of Temple of Veeshan.

bards got f***ed? LOL lets see here, 50 ac.... for a melee class that almost never gets hit as it is (if the tanks are doing what they're supposed to be doing). Not to mention Selo's song of Travel as an effect.... that's about 5 times Sow Speed, Levitate, and Invisibility all in one effect. Then you throw in the bonuses like Resists, Stats, and Hp's. Pretty nice for us bards IMO.

now all in all its nice, but raving over a song they could just mem and leave on as opposed to clicling the armor repeatedly is the mark of a no bard playing person (a useful effect would be nice cause it is a ***** of a quest)

The effect Rocks man ... you can team buff and not worry about people leaving the range of the song or of people lagging when traveling with you which can cause them to fall to their deaths. This is great to get people pass Kael with ease. So many times does 1 person in the whole team leave my range and gets there *** kicked !!!
Probably because it's harder to get then a cobalt bp and theres even better warrior breastplates.
