Okay...ANY, repeat, ANY thurg / skyshrine armor can be MQed. You have person with the no drop item put in trade window of the quest npc, you put in the droppable gems in window of quest npc, THEY hit trade then YOU hit trade. VOILA. Note: if you are a dunce like i was, and bought wrong gems, you sometimes have enough time to go all the way to the baz, get the right gems and come back. AS LONG AS NO ONE ELSE SCREWS WITH NPC.

Both people don't need to hold the trade window open. First person opens trade window and gives the no drop item, second person gives the gems. They can give them gems 2 seconds later or 2 days later. You can give a no drop item from one toon, then log on an alt and give the gems to MQ to the same account. As long as someone doesn't come along and reset the quest by doing a turnin or killing the npc or as long as the zone isnt reset then you can take as long as you want. Having two people open trade windows at the same time is just for the paranoid who think there is some magical exploit going on. People, the items are just ordered checklists to the npc, it could less who turns in the items and how long they take.

Yes they can be MQed. If you find someone selling the torn enchanted silk leggings you then have them turn that in and then you give the three nephrite and biggidy-bam, you got some pants with a clicky.
Geez
# Dec 03 2001 at 12:51 PM Rating: Excellent
Of course the pants are an effect.. right click.

Proc means random effect.. yes... but the word is being used also to describe effects from time to time (non random variety).

There are three types of effects...
1. A true proc... swing the sword until it procs.
(rumored to be based on dexterity)
2. A triggered effect... right click that jboot.
3. A permanent effect. (FBSS, Fishbone earring)

If I am wrong... /sigh /camp desktop

pants have different resists than kelp legs, but a very very useful effect. I would use kelp legs most of the time and swap these out of bag every time you need to haste pet real quick.

Overall not bad pants, but the int is pretty low for velious legs, and no hp/mana like most everyone else's velious legs
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 07 2001 at 8:42 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I hear that these don't proc auegement death but every time I target my pet and right click on them it eyes gleam with madness, strange, guess you should not believe everything you read

They do proc augment death.

They do not proc augment death. There is a difference. Proc is random off of weapons and such. This is a clickable effect.

Actually Proc is short for special procedure which includes right clicks and randoms. The term proc has just become more commonly used with randoms.

Of cource, but whatever the word is associated with becomes what it means. In this case, proc means a random effect off a weapon. If anyone says that an item procs (especialy a weapon) people are going to associate randomness. Given that, these do not proc.

This might seem like a silly question, but how do non-weapon items proc? Isnt this ability a right click effect, like Journeyman's Boots and the Encyclopedia Necrothurgia?
Not quite like PoG pants - bummer.
# Feb 03 2001 at 11:56 AM Rating: Default
I thought that the Thurg/Kael/Skyshrine quests produced almost identical armor pieces as the PoG loot. The PoG pants are roughly the same stats but they trigger Augment Death... /sigh

Off to PoG I guess, ...again.

If you look at the picture, you'll see effect: augment death. So they're the same thing as the PoG pants.
