+2 resists are good? For the work you have to put in for these they are simply not worth the time. Go make some money and buy some real boots.

newp, they have a 3.0 casting time.
and on a side note, it stacks with similar buffs - not to mention extra fire resistance doesn't hurt much, this could also be used as a junk buff early on if you don't have a clicky.

The fact that a two point damage shield, 7 point FR spell exists in the game is a joke. The fact that it is on a Thurg quest item is a flat insult. The Okeil's line isn't even useful as a fire buff. We're talking a FOURTH level spell here. If they wanted to put something USEFUL on them, even from the same spell level, why not root or gate?

You all need to look at it this Way....Anything that Can be cast with out the Use of Mana is Godly...Any Wizard that is at or Above Lvl 50 Knows it as Well As I do. Also This Spell and Druids Dmg Sheilds Stack up giveing the Tank the 10sv Fire Points and Also about 30 non-mele Attack Dmg. Hmmmm...Sounds Good To me for not haveing to waste any Mana..

These are great wizard boot for pvp. I play on vallon zek and would kill for these and not to mention that o'keils radation may suck, however I'll take the free +10 to fr anyday.

Man, i have a 54 mage (wrong class i know) but i would gladly trade my gebs for this. I'm at 215 int, could easily drop the 9 int and only lose 9 mana (that's how much anybody gets for every wis/int over 200) and i'd get the 35 mana (26 more mana total) the stamina, the saves, and the ac. Oh, i'd also get that kick *** damage shield!! Ok, sarcastic about the damage shield but not about the rest.

They make the wizard quest items out of the bits and pieces they have left over from making the good stuff.
You may or may not want to give up your GEBs for these, but a wizard that has his act together more than likely has a 200int with or without GEBs. Making these boots extremely attractive due to the resists.
