What does rune protector armour look like? Is it just guardian armor but different color?
It actually looks identical to guardian armor. Sadly, with luclin graphics it all looks like silver plate. So my 55 pally with almost full thurg, looks almost the same as my brothers 50th lvl pally with CC and ro armor. VI ought to reimplement the Velius armor graphics for luclin.

Hello All
U can find corroded Armor on Trooper , Legionairs and Adjutants (spelling )in Kael at Arena Area.
Troopers are 50 to 54 , Legos 52 to 55 and Adju around 55.Troopers are melees in the 170 range , same with legos , Adjus are clerics ( CH , SH ) and hits in the 200ish.
With a 55+ group u can do it when u know how . When not take 2 or more groups in 50+ to hunt it.
Im a 58 Paladin and can almost solopull all mobs there . Sometimes i got 2 mobs . U must only look on the respawntime , Giants have around 12 min respawntime.
Good group to hunt is : 1 monk , 1 Shaman , 1 Cleric , 1 Chanter/bard ,1Evacer and 2nd Melee class ( prefer pally for stuns then some Mobs are gating ). With 2 or more group is good when u have some Petclasss.
We got last time 2 Corroded bracer , 1 pair corroded boots and 1 corroded Vambracs .

Just a few things to add to his post..
Single pulling here is not based on level..at 58 i can get the same things alone as my 60 friend.
There are certain pulls that i have yet to be able to single:
coming up the ramp, the two giants, hitting either causes them to run off and agro the other one. need monk to pull, then feign and use MELEE to tag the one you want.
kallis stormcaller..i've heard conflicting reports about this. I know SKs with darkness can get him alone, and i've heard of monks getting him alone, but i have never done it, or seen it done. both of the protector of zeks are casters, this is how i split them. train the three of them around till one starts to cast, get out of range and feign. now you have two. have your tagger take the one who was casting back to your camp.

I still cant figure out how to get them alone without using the icewall exploit. anyone?
As for group action, i've done the whole arena with one group, and my guess of the best group is:
monk (puller)
warrior (tank)
cleric (duh)
rogue (damage, can be replaced by wizard, but rogues are better).
shaman (haste and slows)
59druid, enchanter (mana regen, potg isnt as good as c2, but we never had issues with our clerics mana using potg).
obviously this can be adjusted..we've done it with no shaman for slows just fine, but you need a meaty tank to do that.
Adjutants are clerics, As are protector of zeks. Sometimes they gate, sometimes they dont. They never complete heal, so thats not an issue. If they gate, just run them back. You should kill all the troopers/vet/legos before you take out clerics if you can help it.

Just a note about stuns...none of the giants are effected at all by stuns (like HG's/SG's).

And the taunt factor of the Stun still works even if the MoB is immune to stuns.

Actually if a giant is casting, your stun spell will interupt its casting.

Giants are affected by stuns. They are not mezz-able.

Giants are NOT effected by stuns. The little yellow message that ya get after trying to cast a dd stun says: "a %t is uneffected by the stun component of your spell."

Arther is correct. Giants are not affected by stuns. Even when a stun is successful and it says "Adjutant Soandso has been stunned" they are still not affected by it. And no, they can not be interrupted by the stun when casting a spell, unless it has a knockback effect.

ok the quest list says it's for lvl's 1 and up yes?? yet the stats say lvl to attain is 50, call me thick but whats this all about? can a lvl 10 pal do this quest and get the armour or not, or is it yes to quest but cant use item?????

Spoken like a true twinky. Who cares if this quest is doable by a lvl 10 Paladin?
Only Paladins that have proven themselves to the Coldain by ridding their lands of Drakkal Dire Wolves, Frost Giants, and Wurms are worthy of such armor.

Considering that I understand the corroded armor pieces needed drop off of lvl 56+ mobs in Kael, I'd say that's a pretty safe NO to whether a lvl 10 pal could do this quest :-)

When it says lvl 1+ it justs means that you can be given the quest at that lvl, thats why there is a seperate listing for the level to attain

Corroded pieces are found in Kael off of 56+ mobs.

not entirely true, i got the corroded arms today off a giant blue to me at lvl 52. so i am not sure exactly what all can drop the corroded.
I havent checked the paladin kunark armor but this thing has good ac and str at least so its definately worth questing for. Looks good to me, even if the rest of the stats are pretty damn mild.
and not a bad step in the direction of getting your dragon quest armor cause you get in good with Veeshan for guttin Giants.
