dumn question coming, flame on...

RE: level???

No. I have MQd chain leggings for my twink ranger and he is only level 24. The 45 rule is the estimated level in which a group can safely hunt deep enough in Kael to get these to drop.

Quiinn, 60 Barbarian Shaman
got them today

At lvl 42, I got lucky and got a in pick-up bank group in kael. I was with a 62 necro, 58 necro, 44 chanter and someone... I forget. Anyways, on the second leutenant pull, we got the leggings to drop. I got them since I was only chain user there. I lvled up to 45 and then got the oxnyx sapphires in bazaar for around 75pp. After this, I went to get faction. It took me 2 raids, 2 pick-up groups and a ring war to get my faction up to kindly. When at kindly, I was able to hand them in and I got the leggings at lvl 45. The quest is not too hard to do. All you need to get are the leggings and you are set. If you are on an arena raid, you have high chances of getting them or if you are in a good group pulling higher lvl mobs around the bank. Good luck to everyone out there that are getting these sweet legs.

peace out

If ya noticed that post on Casters Realm.... cure disease line now has a chance of removin' slow spells from player's, since slow has been given a disease counter now. These things would come in REAL handy now.

Is it true about legs dropping in WL?
# Feb 17 2002 at 6:11 PM Rating: Decent
Mandicus Lifescourge posted this:

corroded chain leggings: drops from troopers, veterans, adjuntants, legionaire, protector of zek etc... in kael. Basically the lvl 53+ mobs in kael will drop these, although I have seen someone get chain legs off of a lvl 45ish storm giant roaming near wl zone.

Has anyone ever seen a Storm Giant ever drop these legs?? If so I would gladly give up a few days to try to find some on one.

He means you can get the corroded leggings off the SGs near WL zone, IN KAEL, occasionally.

Sorry these are slightly better than pog.

I have pog. These add 10 more hps at lvl 60 from the 2 extra stamina points. Plus with a full set of thurgadin armor you look pimp goin into temple of veeshan. Stats like this and you can actually afford to wear frog crown and a couple blue diamond earrings =)

At high lvls importance falls in 5 categories for shaman.
1) Wisdom
2) AC
3) Hitpoints
4) Resists
5) usefulness in a raid situation.

These greaves would do you until you got your unadorned chain leggings for your skyshrine quest.

Chipped onyx sapphire: drops in sirens grotto, velks, cobalt scar, you name it... if they drop gems... they'll drop here.

Seriously though dont waste your time in those zones if you can get a group to do sirens grotto.

A mid fifties group could do the outside well area near western wastes and get 4 or 5 gems and hour. A high fifties group could do the siren temple and walk away with about 2 or 3 breastplate gems an hour, plus the benefit of quest items like runed sea shell for 7th shawl.

I would say AC, HP, THEN wisdom... a big pool doesnt really help you much... Sure with more mana you can slow/kill more stuff, but then you med proportionately longer :)
Where do i get chipped saphires?

RE: I found a Imperfect Diamond while hunting in Wakening La
# Mar 02 2001 at 5:29 PM Rating: Good
aye the different types of odd gems that are from CS icewell and wakenning lands etc are all used in these types of quests keep them and sell them for a bundle in 3's unless you want a peice of this armor yourself. But also look at it this way... a LOT of this armor maybe even all of it.. are identical stat and effect wise to plane of growth gear. Food for thought
Nice clickable effect
# Feb 20 2001 at 10:37 AM Rating: Default
And a clickable effect that's actually useful. I've never kept remove disease memmed, and when a group member gets diseased, it usually takes a bit to get it ready. This way I can just click. Much better than stupid stat buffs less than the ones a shaman has for the level by the time they can use the Jaundinced.
