Try South Ro if you haven't already. I cleared them once last night and got 3 Sand of Ro to drop.

EQ down due to 'intrusion' there is NO sand of Ro intrusion

hope the inrusion is an electric shock under the asses of the random drop generator admin

been here now 7 days, over 5000, yes FIVE THOUSAND trash mobs killed in north pasrt fo zone.
total of 11 sand giants
total sand of ro drops: zero

what maikes it even better is the player Tassis who took over from me last night when i went to bed in disgust got STRAIGHT AWAY SIX (yes SIX sand giants pops in 2 hours, and YES friends and neighbours SIX straight sand of ro drops, 100% 1 frokm each giant) the cheating filthy putrid game is cheating me on purpose bending its will agaisnt me.

EXPLAIn why a player can get 6 dropd in 2 hours by just runnign around the zone, yet sum1 who spends 7 DAYS and cxlearing over 5000 Mobs gets FUUUUUK ALL?/

plz explain this>? becaus eit is not luck it is not random chance iot is simply your game CHEATING

need 1 sand of ro for pally ro armour quest
here 9 hours killing trash in north part of S Ro zone, got maybe 6 sand giants pop in NINE HOURS, killed maybe ONE HUNDRED trash mobs per sand giant pop.

of course ZERO sands of ro dro

They are needed for the paladin Ro armor quests, and also for pottery making small wisdom deities. When I was doing pottery I'd auction that I wanted to buy the sand and many people would (if they were close by anyway) just give me the sand for free. The most I was going to pay for it was 10pp, since at the time I was doing pottery 10pp was a BIG deal. They make +2 WIS deities for clerics and druids ( no SHM grr...) that can be put in all of the weapon slots except ammo. Most everyone I sold was going in the range slot. You need a 135 pottery skill to make them at 90% success rate, and the formula is 1 flask of water, one idol ( or deity? ) sketch, and small block of clay and the sand, trivials 135 on the pottery wheel. Combine the unfired deity and a HQ firing sheet in a kiln for the finished product. They sold for 100pp easy when I first made them, and after I while I would just give them out to free to clerics and druids who didnt have a range slot item. The stuff to make these ( barring paying for the sand ) cost 1pp tops to buy from vendors. Was a very good way to make money back before Luclin, they may still have a market today for lower level druids/clerics but probably go for 50pp average. No way Id pay more than 10pp per sand now, unless I was doing the Ro armor quests. They only drop from sand giants and can't be foraged and they don't drop every time you kill a sand giant either.

Sands of ro can normally be bought for 10-20pp each, and can then be made in to Small Wisdom Deities, which can sell for 100-200pp

This is one of the components used to create Ronium, a magical metal used to forge items from the ridiculously difficult (for it's level) Armor of Ro quests (Paladin Only). If you get any of these little packets - sell em' to Paladins, generally Level 1 to 35 will want to take me off your hands.

they drop of SanD Gaints in Oasis. about a 1hr spawn timer on them for what i can tell.

they con blue-even to my lvl 35 shammie and i can solo them with no hassel.

but they hit hard so if ya mele ya might have to wait a bit longer they have about 2k of hp so takes a while.
