Tried clicking the portal with my shard and found that you can give it things, it ate the shard :(

If i get another one ill try giving it to one of the crystals.

I suspect that this is the entrance to Riftseekers.

Entrance to riftseekers is in proving grounds. And friend said this is where his druid ports in. So that explain the crystal and ring looking thing.

i havent seen this ring so i'm only speculating, but i have found 'a pile of rocks' in afew zones that act the same as what u describe here, targetable and u can give it things. anyhow i have found that if u right click on these rocks they teleport u between them. so basicly have you tryed right clicking on the ring?

The "a pile of rocks" I saw is in The Bloodfields through a cave (about midway between Dranik Scar and RCOD, just past the a reclusive girplan).. If you click on the rocks, they target as (green con to lvl 68) a pile of rocks. Right clicking does nothing... However, If you use center screen... It strips your invis and ports you to the back side of RCOD in a cave with some rats (some see invis). The rocks that are in Harbringers I was not able to target or use center screen to port through.
