Its gotta be for something good considering the price you get from the vendor is well lets say not up to par. its like 1 copper or something cheap like that. so im guessing its for a quest of some sort.

not quest item... TATTERED Chimera Pelt is the item that the vendor only offers 1 copper for...Tattered is the quest item.... just plain old Chimera hide is vendor trash.....
