Still no regen

July 2020 and this item still does not impart any HP regen.

Added an image to show its minimum stats (at Noon game time) and its maximum stats (at Midnight game time).

At the minimum it is just barely better than the PoP wooden figurine charm that most people would be upgrading when Gates is in era. At the maximum, of course it is much better. So every 72 minutes you have a decent item for about 6 minutes, otherwise it's mediocre.
Bugged regen.

For those on TLP’s, I received no hp regen increase upon equipping this item. I am not capped, my tooltip regen did not go up, nor did my actual regen (tested after taking some damage). A bug report has been submitted.

Kind of odd that one can take an unfired piece of pottery, and turn it into a chiseled piece of jade, by firing it.

You'd think it would turn into a fired clay figurine.

So out of Curiosity.... Does this charm gain power on the moon? Since whenever you type "/time" it says that it is impossible to tell the time when there is no sun... Does this charm work on the moon? can anyone confirm?
Thanks

I don't have this particular charm, but I did test out the one from Riftseekers that has the same rule (power increasing closer to midnight). The charm evidently can tell time even on the moon. The stats go up and down according to the time on my mule in the bazaar.

Well it's stupid really. I don't know who at SoE thought up the concept of no sun on the moon. I mean does the sun disapear just because you go to the moon?

Hmmmm... gonna have to go listen to Pink Floyds dark side of the moon now lol.

It was probably someone at SoE listening to Pink Floyd that thought this up to begin with, thinking that one side our moon is always dark and then modeled Luclin after that. The "dark side" of Earth's moon is "dark" to us because we can't see it from Earth, as spott mentioned above.

It would take some really odd physics to have one side of a moon of a planet always face the sun. But we're in their world, and they can make up the rules :) Luclin, the goddess, is keen on odd physics, I hear.

Don't take odd physics for one side of the moon to perpetually face the sun, but by the same token, you can't have the moon only face one side of the earth AND one side to the sun at the same time. (moon currently rotates at rate synchronious to the earth, in which the same side of the moon perpetually faces the earth. It would be immpossible for the moon to face one side to the sun and moon. (difference in rotated ~28 day now, -vs- ~365.25 days to perpetually face the sun.)

The same side of the moon faces the sun, so that you have perpetual darkness on one side and perpetual day on the other. It's not that the sun doesn't exist, but night and day have have no meaning.

The sun does move across the moon, that's why we have phases (1st quater, half...etc) The moon always faces the same side to the earth, not the sun.

If you notice, there are no moon phases in EQ. It's always a full moon.
