I am wondering if the percussion is a 7.0 modifier or a 70.0, if it is the latter, than this item is a MUST for all bards, it has better mod than the TDoK and the WDotR, im amazed
There are a variety of ways that instrument modifiers are displayed... SOE's way, Allakhazam's way, and the traditional bard way.
Depending on which way you utilize, this modifier is 17, 70% or 1.7.
TDoK, on the other hand, is 28, 180% or 2.8, which is far superior.
The benefit of this item is that it is a belt not a held instrument, and has decent stats.

The "traditional bard way" as you put it, is EQDiva's way. I'm a traditional bard and I normally go by %, that was of course until sony wised up and made it so that we dont have to go online to compare them ^.^

just plain ole 70% perc mod, tdok is 180%, good mod though =D
TDoK has a 140%? mod so this is nice if u dont have time to equip ure drums
TDoK has a 28 mod or 180%. this has a 17 or a 70%, not as good as epic, but if you collected all the instrument moding drops/quests from VP i think you could easily bank epic....i hate those lil ldon mods for instruments.
