you could camp the 2 that spawn at the zone.
and then wait 20 minutes for a respawn.
sure, eventually you will get the drops.
i think i might pull all my hair out first, tho.
or you could be intelligent and move in and kill the 10-15 more that are up in the zone at any given point. they share spawn points with cragbeasts, so kill these if they are up.
you will have to break past an unsnareable see invis ukun/kyv duo at the entrance, of course.
there will be more hynids just past here, then make the first left. the hynids/cragbeasts are near the wall of the zone, all around the central area. it is very easy to kill them without aggroing anything else. (but take heed at the building near the oddly potted tree in the corner)
i got my 3 pristine hynid manes within 5 hours.

Very painful camp- aproximately 60 hours spent at zone in from KT to get the 3 drops from the 2 that spawn there.

I do not think the Pristine Manes drop anywhere except for in Yxtta, off Wary Hynids.

I hunted the two animal spawns in Yxtta nearest the Kod Taz zone. It took me about 15 hours of killing over the course of five days, in between raids and such to get my three drops. Respawn time is 20 minutes and can be either a Wary Hynid or a Ravenous Cragbeast. Both spawn anywhere from 64-66th level. You can single pull either spawn point. Occasionally a roaming mob (noc or mastruq or ukun) will wander up between the two points, and may aggro if the hynid is rooted in its spot.
All in all I killed more than 85 Wary Hynids and another 40 or so Cragbeasts. The mane is pretty rare.
