Ruins of KunarkLooking at the stats of the item I dont seeing it being a common Sarnak drop in OT anymore maybe a rare, but really my guess would be according to the dex +5 and Agil +5 and it is listed as 1 hnd slash that would be a really nice ranger item. So looking at how the EQteam seem to put items in zones where that class is limited in its abilities. I would guess it would be in a dungen zone that was around the lvls 40-50... or just on a high lvl mob in a lower zone that was in that range... but I would definitly guess it would be in a dungen... possibly the mines of Nurga or one of the other goblin zones in that area.

well i have done several of these quest already, and well they seem to have pattern in zones epically in Antonica. they only apear in what seems 2 zones beholders maze and Nejena so by basic deduction itseems that they would have simler prospect same goes with velious eastern wastes and iceclad ocean all thing apear in those 2 zones so if you look at kunarks spawn point it is either in overther(no signs of it yet there) or warsilk woods(havent checked yet) because the green scale emerald comes from the the tamorine of rituals come from there, and the cocktrice beak comes from the overthere (unless there is another place where you can get 1) it is pretty much in 2 places and luclin i havent really scouted so i dont know those 2 zone for it but its seems to have a pattern. i may just be blowing smoke but i really dont know. But there is the fact of the odd item in each quest there is an odd item fowund some where compleatly off corse so it maybe 1 of those items though i am not sure i will continue to check each place and will try to keep you guys posted

I hunted OT from 30 to 38, killed many, many sarnaks and not once did I see this sword drop. So, if its an OT drop, its broken. Havent looked in FM yet, so it might be there.

Ok just a wild stab in the Dark but when i think Goblins in Kunark im thinking the dungeon of Droga. Maybe look here for the sword
I have hunted in Droga only found a “Fine Steel two-handed sword” which I tried to put in collection box and wouldn’t except. Also have hunted in the connecting mines, “Mines of Nurga”, both sides with same results.
In my opinion I think the level of the dungeon (temple) is too high. The other collection quests were in areas a lot easier than Droga. The Goblins run from levels 31 to 40 and adds are quite common.
I also refer back to this item never on sale in the Bazaar where everything else for the other entire collection quests are. Also no reward on this site or any other has been posted.
According to times on the first few posts, I believe that this item has been nurffed early in Kunark’s history. I hope I am wrong and someone finds the sword. Would sure like to see what the item (reward) is for this quest.

Seems to me the way to find out is make a character on Tarew Marr and ask Nevetts where it came from :)
Please I encourage everyone who maybe fustrated as much as I am with this quest to use the command “ /feedback “ next time you log on and explain how this quest might be bugged or broken. My petition was finally answered with no results except to explain to me that the “Broken Quest” was out of the hands of GM’s and to email Sony. But at least one GM is aware! Hehe
....and I have emailled Sony before.

Found this item listed on Everlore (and other sites) and the text said it was dropped by a Sarnak Knight in the OT. The fact that EQatlas also lists this item as dropping in OT reinforces this idea. It seems that all occurances of this item came right after the Kunark launch so it is possible that it was removed in a later patch and whoever coded the PoK quest just missed that little tidbit. But if it is still an active item then for my buck I'm gonna say it is an OT only drop which comes off SARNAKS and not goblins. that might explain why all that goblin bashing hasn't yet turned up this sword!

Not a high enough level, but did some research. Can someone verify this ?
Goblin Iksar Slayer, in Frontier Mountains, should drop this. May be in the SouthEast corner of the zone.

From the quest list here, all the other zones for the other items are listed. The only places this could be from, according to the quest page, is LoIO or Beholder Maze.

One thing about the PoK quests are that they seem to be for us to visit/re-visit the other expansions. Mino horn from the original, Ancient Sensate Shield from Luclin, Chill dagger from Velious... leaving Kunark for the Goblin Two-hander. Most of the posts have suggested Dagnar, FM, WW, and Ill Omen, but there are two dungeons that almost nobody goes to that are crawling with goblins. My guess is that this item's located in one of those two places. It's too bad those stink'n places are so tough.

Hmmm... if any post is unwelcome, its yours, Vinney. At least this person offered a constructive suggestion. You merely came on to flame and criticize, much as I am doing now. In your case though, telling the person his post is "unwelcome" because he offers no new information is hypocritical, as you did not offer any new or useful information either. I have no clue where all of you got the sarnak idea from, because it's a GOBLIN two hander. There are two goblin-specific zones located in Kunark, both adjacent to FM. Mines of Nurga, and Temple of Droga. Maybe it drops there?
So much for this being a common drop????? April fools was 7 and a half months ago!!!! Where the hell is this damn Sword??????
I think they forgot to give it to a mob when they set up POP. Has anyone seen it recently and what is the reward?????

this weapon drops in FM by a goblin the the 3 corner cycle, i wish i could remeber his name..i hope this helps

Ok i have spent hrs searching the web and days killing Sarnaks in OT. Still i have not found what this drops off of. EQAtlas lists it as dropping in OT???? I am about to give up can anyone confirm this drop?

I spent Yesterday (saturday 10/26 in OT asking constantly if anyone has herd of or seen drop besides killing every Sanark in sight.So while waiting for things to spawn I serched different site with gobs in Kunark. I have an Idea Temple of Droga's equiment dropped have the word "Goblin" in front of their stuff. Like Goblin Parrying Dagger, Goblin Backstabber, Goblin Forged Iron Boots etc.... Also going on the therory that the drop is in Kunark (makes sense).The Magic pool quest also uses this zone for their last exchange for book.
So off to Temple of Droga, don't like the area, have to use up my Thurgain gate potion.but a quest is a quest. Please if anyone finds the sword post info.

I've been searching high and low for this sword. Hundreds of Sarnaks and Goblins have fallen to my sword in LOIO, FM, OT, and BW. If anyone has any real information about where it drops or what drops it, please post! :)

Hope I am not completely wrong here but the 2 creatures this drops from (Sarnak Berserker & Sarnak Knight) are both high 20's. I believe that this would push up the 'Level to attain' figure to at least 27-28.

It might be a 2hander for goblins. They are much smaller and weaker than the medium races.
