Ignore the postings below. I just got this last night, and though it's not really an upgrade, the graphic alone (and decent wisdom) makes up for the lack of mana or resists or other stats.
Those who say this isn't a weapon have soot in their ears. In the hands of a Cleric, this is a decent bashing weapon. Apparently the max damage is about 46, with the same cast interrupt effect as normal shields.
The graphic gives me that dual-wield look, ya' know, that "you drew first blood, now you die!" Rambo gaze. Just that, as a Cleric, I can't always deliver. Except those giant bats in Butcher.

If your doing this guy for drops....chances are you'll have a better primary anyways. At least on my server, none of the high lvl guilds would ruin dragon faction for this item unless they are top high lvl uber guilds usually factionless or on Kael faction anyways. So chances are that this won't be much of an upgrade anyways.

Not only Top Level Uber Guilds can Dragons or Kill in Skyshrine

its not a primary, its a secondary. 15 wis and 50hp/30mana doesnt suck.
To the two people below: this is not a weapon. It has no damage/delay, and goes in the secondary slot. So WTF are ya'll talking about?
I understand its not a weapon. That would be the reason why I referred to it as an "item", and also in quotes at the end as a "weapon".

If you looked at the classes that could use this decent item, you would notice that they are most likely not goig to be smacking anything for damage with their weapons if they are doing their jobs correctly(most of the time). Sooooooo, that makes this a rather nice "weapon" :p

hey...Ogkug....clean your stinkin' glasses!!!! if you even bothered to look at the stats, you'd see
1. it's a secondary slot item.
2. useable classes (clr/dru/sha) are NOT DUAL WEILDING CLASSES!!!
3. it's not a bad item for those classes, tho I'd personally rather have the shield of Bane Warding.
So, next time you decide to open your pie hole abiut an item, be sure you know what the hell your talking about, and please read about the item. It's not that hard.....moron.

Errr Secondary.....
Last I looked secondary slot was for totems and shields not weapons.....
So basically we have a 10 ac shield (no Bash sorry clerics) with 15 wisdom and 30 mana .....

I believe you can bash with any secondary that has AC on it, and that the damage is related to that AC.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
If you can bash things with a Parrying Dagger in your offhand (which I know you can do), then there's a very good chance that you can bash with this rod. Since it's not a weapon, it's basically just a shield with a different graphic, similar to a Parrying Dagger.
