Levelled from mid 26 to 30 and never seen one drop from the Shadowed men in Lesser Faydark. The mask, eye patch, scythe, gloves, and weapons dropped frequently but not the Globe.
I removed the mention that it would drop from shadow men in Lesser Faydark since the quest NPC specifically says it drops off the shaman in Upper Guk. As for rarity in Upper Guk, it might not be that rare, maybe Uncommon.
2nd kill of Nokta Shaman got me the globe. So probably Common is correct since the correction.

Heh, didn't check with Quest npc just looked it up on here. Oh well Level 33 now and off to Guk.

Does this work as good as the nokta drop? or do it have to be nokta for the robe

I believe this is also used to start the quest for Tishan's kilt for dru/wiz in Permafrost

The Tishan's kilt quest requires a shadowed ball, this is not the same item.
