I finally found that recipe mentioned on the boards there and other tinkerers acknowledged that it was a known fake. Perhaps wishful thinking on someone's part... as it contains several tinkering items of no known use. *sigh*

From a roleplaying standpoint as well, that recipe wouldn't make much sense would it? You would need to kill Gnome aligned mobs for a Gnome only tradeskill?
