doing this right now I came here for help and I can confirm that :skipping stone : dos not work for the clay shackle quest hunting for the othere stone now at least on bristolbane there is a difrence

In the Restraining order quest, Trooper Inik, in the Swamp, didnt take the regular Skipping Stone so i recon there is a special Froglok Skipping Stone, but if so has any ever seen it or knows who and where it drops?

Skippers can be found along path to south kill all the leeches they attack frogs so if none just start killing the leeches and anything else and they spawn,I looked ofr 30 minutes then saw a leech kill a skipper started killing leeches and mosquitos and such and got a skipper and other frogs to spawn soon after

Froglok Skippers can be found by following the path south from Cabalis. I spent an hour searching the zone before looking here. I then followed the path south and found one at LOC +375, +2600. My first kill didn't produce the skipping stone, but I returned about 20 minutes later and found a second Skipper at the same LOC. This one dropped "a skipping stone" which combined in the shackle quest bag. (I figure you should do the stone portion of the quest last and when you add it to the other items in the bag, if it doesn't combine then you got the wrong stone. Not sure since it worked with the first stone I got.)
The goblin scout and sabertooth cub took 2 minutes to find outside Cabilis in LOIO. The Large scorpions are easy to find in FoB.

just got the shackle quest that uses "froglok skipping stones" in it, these skipping stones are what it uses, because it combined just fine with all the other things for the quest in the pack. did that make sense? good, im gonna go do that thing called sleep now......

someone should really post some info about this stone.. I have only seen "a skipping stone" so far.

it has a 200 range and does only one damage but well the 200 range means pulling stuff along way away the only problem is it isn't stackable

Is there a difference between a froglock skipping stone and a skipping stone? found a skipping stone last night, but didnt have the "froglock"name to it

Yes there is a difference.

No there is not a difference. They both work quite fine in the quest.
