The Focus effect should also affect the GoD Ancient Chaos Vortex, as that too is a lvl 65 instant DD spell, that is not Sun Vortex.

No it does not, The gloves only work on the spell i mentioned, the Focus says it works on lvl 65 MAGIC based direct damage spells. Chaos vortex is Fire based.

Nothing in the Lucy data to suggest you know what you are talking about. Nothing limits it to magic only so Azatoth is quite right.

As of 10/03 it shows it only affects Blinding Beauty. That's not a mage spell...seems to be a mob effect. Grats mages!
