Sanfyrd isn't in the necro guild. He's near it. Just swim across the very narrow body of water there. You do not go into the necro guild.
Ronium is what I want.

Well, considering the Princess dust is lore, and you need 4 for Ronium, they must be talking about regualr dust, as golden dust would be far to hard to accumulate. To get the dusts, I would get a ranger to track down Faeries in GFay, as they might need some dusts too, for the Ronium.
Fairy Dusts

I know of at least 2 types of dust and I don't doubt there is a third. Saania is correct on the drops.

However, the skies are now red in Lesser Faydark. I have found Fairy Dust on the the Undead Sprites. As for Princess Joleena, I believe she should still spawn near the mechanical gnoll (near the Steamfont zone). She was a rare spawn before and don't see why she wouldn't be now so, just be patient... I've heard it can take four hours!

BTW, I am doing the Rain Caller Quest which requires me to give her items in order to get Golden Fairy Dust from her. Others of you may need to kill her for her dust so, please be corteous and send out an /OOC before killing her... others may need to talk with her first.

Not near Steamfont

Princess Joelena doesn't spawn near Steamfont, she's on a 35 minute rotation with "A Faerie Guard" (spelled different than the rest of the guards), meaning her PH despawns every 35 mins and you get a chance at her spawning. That spot is in the middle of the Faerie village. If you don't see a bunch of smurf houses, you're in the wrong location. Yes, there's a clockwork gnome by Steamfont, but it's not the right one. Check out eqatlas to get an idea where the faerie city is, unless you're suicidal or very high level, you'd do best to go right there, don't want to bump in to dark elves or brownies.
3 types of dust

There are 3 types of dust :
- Fearie Dust: what Blackadder is talking about; dropped by courtiers, maidens, etc. This is the regular, stackable, droppable fearie dust.
- Golden Fairy Dust (no drop) : (not sure about exact item name) quest item needed for Raincaller, given by Princess Joleena when you give her wing back to her (doing the quest in Akanon involving the Freeport wig vendor etc.).
- Fairy Princess Dust (LORE, droppable) : dropped by Princess Joleena when you kill her. This is the name of the item this article is about. Nobody knows what it is for. And that's I would like to know :)

The Fairy Princess Dust is for the Armor of RO quested armor for paladins.

Actually Faery Princess Dust IS NOT for Pally Quest. It is lore and non-stackable therefore only Faery Dust will work for the Ro Armor.

I know, my roomate did this quest and needed my help.

The quest description says that it requires the princess dust and if only one is needed per piece of Ro armor then it does not need to stack. Just started the quests myself.

The fairy dust itself isnt needed for the RO armor quests. You need to turn 4 fairy dusts into the cleric's guild in BB to get 1 Soil of the Underfoot. You use that (along with melatite, sands of ro, and mistmore granite) to make a bar of ronium. So you need 4 dusts per armor piece, not 1.

What do we do now that the faeries in LFay are dead?

Yes, what do we do now that the faeries are gone? I did see one faire on tracking the other night when playing my ranger, but crimmy, I wasn't about to run all over the zone for the possiblility of getting one dust! You need like 3 per robidium...thats alot of faries man. If you now have to run all over the zone - well. Any input on this subject would be dandy. Has any one gotten any fearis dust scince the skys went red?

Has anyone hailed the soild of underfoot prestess in Kaladim to see if the quest has changed?

I suppose I will post some feedback to vereant for all the good it will do once I have done a little more research.

Well as for the Faerie dust, it still drops, but off of the undead sprites instead. Since people have been killing them like mad, I've been able to gather them at a rate unheard of before.

So yes they're still there. Don't worry. It's the raincaller dust I'm curious about.

The other message here refers only to the Enchanted Longbow quest. As far as the paladin Ro armor quests are concerned, Priestess Ghalea will take regular "Fairy Dust" accumulated from faerie maidens (rare drop); faerie courtiers (rare drop) and faerie duchesses (common drop) in either LFay or GFay. Given the amazing amount of danger involved in a trip to LFay these days, my suggestion is to get yourself a tracker and prowl around GFay for it. Barring that, the westernmost faerie camp in LFay should be outside the brownie scout patrol paths.

The fairy camp along the west edge of LFay is outside of the bronie patrols. This is where I collected my 12 dusts for the 3 pieces of Ro Armor I do have. It drops fairly regularly off the maidens, about 1 in 5, and these can easily be picked off from the outer perimiter of the camp (green to me at 29). Just be sure to root them as the like to run back to the center of the camp where many more come to their aid.

After a bad pull at the fairy camp in LFay, I decided to go and try my luck in GFay. Got a newbie ranger to help me with tracking, and killed 20-25 fairies. Got a total of 5 dusts off maidens, courtiers and one off a guard.
The Dust Info

The fairy Dust for this quest is not regular dust, it must be the Golden Fairy dust you get from the quest. the regular dust does not work, my wife has tried and it took her bow and everything.

I believe the fairie dust is for ronium only (armor and ivy etched boots require this). The dust for the Raincaller is special, and acquired through another quest.
