anyone know if this item is clickable from inventory or if you have to equip it?
I was just browsing through VT loot and noticed this, blowing it off as worthless. But as someone else pointed out this is *NOT* the same as the Spell: Call of Fire. In fact the proc added is twice as lethal, doing 130 dmg each proc.
However, at 130 it is inferior to the level 65 PoP spell Spell: Cry of Thunder. Except in a few situations. Cry of Thunder makes a magic resist check, while this spell makes a fire resist check. There are some mobs in the game which are incredibly magic resistant - for example Emperor Ssraeshza - but are vulnerable to fire. This clicky would be great versus those mobs.

Cry of Thunder is unresistable unless mob is naturally immune to stun. there is no magic check for it. Trebori Nhadragh 65 Ranger 250 AA's
Nope - it's a -200 check against magic, the last time I checked on Lucy. Which basically means it's a magic Lure.
But, MoBs like the Emp that are magic immune will resist it.
Stun has nothing to do with Cry of Thunder which has no stun component (thank goodness).

whenever i use call of sky (still a gimpy ranger that needs to update his spells) on monsters that are resistant to stun, it says "your target is immune to the stun portion of this effect" so it doesn't matter if it has stun or not, the mob won't resist the effect because of it.

did you look up the spell data with spell search?
if it's in library correctly, it's single target red gem

this spell is not scribeable a lvl 55 ranger spell called CALL of fire is what ur thinking proc is.... just wanted to clear things up

Well, comparing weaponry is nice, but knowing where to go to get equip is better, who drops these?
Sadly my smaller guild is not Vex Thal capable as only the mighty Cats in Hats have the elusive keys on our server, so I will not be "sporting" a set of these any time soon.
The AC is lovely, allowing more flexability with resist and hp items in our off slots. The proc will surely save a lot of mana while soloing of while tanking in the odd exp group. The resists are nice, and the 100 hp/mana alone make it a wonderful item for any Vex Thal keyed ranger to have.

AM is ubah, a great token for achievin 59-60 and 20 plus AA points, that said;
Take a look at the equipment and weaps available for melee, look at who is not on the list. I am not talkin about the rare *** leet gear, but the mid to high level stuff. Hard as hell to find that phat piece and when ya do, we are never alone on that list. Ergo, we get it almost last.

to the ranger on tunare i can only guess your talking about the fang crom cursed .. wich is also a weapon .. that fang with acrylla sword from emp are an awesome combo .. and leave room for these as gloves :)

So VI has put in two ranger only items in Ssra and VT and they are both tagged Hand Slot. WTG, great planning, great itemization. The effect on that item should be worn, I can't see anyone in their right mind wanting a pair of these. Gratz el Rotto.

hmmKinidyen you wouldnt remove your claw and put it back in a melee weapon slot to equip these gloves? I sure as hell would, until vex thal a ranger doesnt get but 75hp gloves with minor stats and saves to em (velium encrusted, mith guants) the only 100hp gloves off vyemm are junk, 30ac 100hp, who needs them , these gloves are extremely awsome, while I agree the effect would be great worn, but then you couldnt wear them on raids due to the taunt factor.

Cry of Fire is a Weapon Proc Buff that adds a 130DD to you weapons.

The effect, Cry of Fire, is to be a new PoP level 55 spell. It is supposedly very similar to Call of Flame, a spell of the same level. My guess is Cry is a DoT proc instead of a DD proc. Only a guess though.
