tHIS DROPS OFF THE LAST MOB IN THE RING OF SLIME EVENT. The mob has like 1,000,000 hp. Can be slowed, once hes slowed its easy. Our guild does the event with as little as 9 people, but is a 45 minute fight with those 9 and they are level 63+. But all in all its an easy fight.

Drops in Cazic Thule

I got these off of an ooze in Cazic Thule. I don't remember the name of the ooze but it was one of the ring oozes. We killed one, another spawned, killed it, another spawned, ect.

#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 29 2002 at 8:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Dont ask me off of what since I dont have that info, but I know from other sites that this is dropped in Cazic Thule. Maybe someone else who has actually seen this drop will fill you in on what drops it exactly.

I've submitted several new items to Allakhazam's over time. Only one time did they properly include the information I provided upon submission. I consider myself lucky if they actually take the time to post the image/stats, let alone the other included info (mob/zone/approx level/raid or exp group mob, etc).

Probably drops off the final MoB in the ring of Slime.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 29 2002 at 7:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I agree with the other posters. If I looted something this nice I would remember where I got from. And if I had the sense to submit it to Allakhazam's I'd think to mention where it came from as well. Who ever was high enough to loot this should be experienced and savvy enough to know that other players would want to know what dropped it. At least the zone...

I Never said, or even implied that the poster was ignorant, just careless. I wasn't trying to attack the poster. I was just expressing what seems to be a shared frustration over something that happens to often when people post their finds. I do, of course, appreciate that stuff gets posted at all. As for the suggestion that maybe a farmer was purposely avoiding being specific so they could dominate the source of this item... I guarantee this is not going to drop off an easy knock-over mob that spawns often. Sure, I'm being presumptuous here, but I can say with near certainty that shoulders that good (and NOT NO DROP!) are going to be a rare drop, or off of a rare spawn, or at the very least, in a tough place for one person to cozy in and farm for a few hours.

Its actually not very rare, and its not off a rare mob; just hard. RoS takes probably 30 people to do, and its very grueling, the acidic mass, the final mob in the ring of 3, takes about 20 minutes of nonstop fighting to kill; plus you have to worry about gettin everyone down to pools, clearing pools, clearing green pool, killing the permarooted trigger mob in the water, then actually killing all three mobs while dealing with respawn... its a chore. but well worth it.

#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 29 2002 at 8:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) well, perhaps the person is a farmer, a very smart one at that. Providing that this item doesn't drop of some big huge baddass named mob a person, or guild could concievably farm this item, iether to promote their own guild prosperity or to sell for massive amounts of money in EC, since no one else knows where it is but they all know it exists and want it badly. just a way of developing demand without creating any competition at least for a little while.

I'd guess the same goes for cynicism, and considering it only took Kama 2 hours from the time of your post for her to post the location of the spawn that drops this little trinket, yours was unfounded. Maybe she was too focused spreading the love, and absentmindedly forgot to put it down the first time, but she came through.

Be nice to clerics, they just might give you a free rez. :p

Cheers

Are we looking at the same item? Doesn't look like monks can wear this one. And why would they want a wisdom/int/mana piece anyway?
